Worst move in experience of my life.
Hello , I've been renting the house I live in for about 6 years now, recently my home was sold to Darwin's homes without my knowledge. Darwin had the wrong number to contact me to let me know ( idk how because my old landlord had my new number that I've had for a long time now) and the letter that was sent to my house was a certified letter that I had to pick up from the post office telling me that I had a new owner management company that owns the house I live in, and coincidence I guess I pick up the letter from the post office the same day I get an eviction notice 🤦,... So here's the real dilemma... not knowing that I had a new owner now I have all these late fees and I've been in contact with Darwin homes customer service people since I found out and nobody's really been able to help me I've gone to CVS as to try and make my payment , they said provider wasn't excepting my cash payment and when I tried to call someone they told me to drive around and go try different stores...🤔 .... I've downloaded the portal and there's all kinds of engineer problems on your end apparently that won't let me verify whatever I have to verify after giving you all my security codes( which is really unsettling personally) and so another problem is I don't understand why I have to pay almost $180 in overcharge fees when I'm doing everything on my part to pay my rent...

I was put in a not so great predicaments few months ago and wasn’t sure what I was going to do. I contacted Darwin homes and was connected with Katherine Jansen, she was/is an amazing worker! She was very helpful and kept consistent contact with all involved. I would highly recommend Darwin home to do business with. You may even get lucky enough to work with Katherine Jansen. Also, thank you to the owners.
Darwin homes property is a very helpful team. If they need anything from me they’ll kindly ask and remind me so I can get faster approval towards my future home. There hasn’t been an email nor text sent with no answer back which I really appreciate.
There are no portals to review what’s in progress though it’s stated on the phone. The emergency request line works on regular business hours therefore it’s not an emergency line.

Bad customer service. They do not knew how to add and they do not credit your payment and when you ask they brush you off.
They responded quickly to maintenance issues.

Horrible unorganized. My home was recently sold to them. When I got into the portal to pay my rent there was rent from November and December. But they didn’t own my home in November. And are trying to say I owe them 1300. The management tenant relationship is starting out a bad one.
From my brief interaction with her own homes they seem to have made the transition very easy. On the staff that I spoke with seemed to be very friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciate that very much.
