Second time at having a home delivery, What a debacle! They would have to be the most inefficient delivery service in Australia! I had to go on the online chat and be 37th in line. In the end I asked for a refund. Don't ever go there! They are rubbish!
To be fair, the in store experience is very good.
But once you get to use their online shop, the nightmare begins...
Took me a couple hours to get to talk to a bot, yes, you need to queue up to talk to a bot... The bot says he's busy so what can I do...
Had to rearrange the delivery because "they thought your address is a business address" which took me 3 extra days to receive the wine...
Then I took the wine and get to the airport and got refused tax return because they didn't provide an ABN in their tax invoice... The bot finally replied to me with another tax invoice however it was all too late...
$80 tax return was gone with the wind...
What a terrible website. Wanted to buy the tequila bundle on special for $55.00. Got to the checkout and the price was $74.00, what is going on. Tried to contact someone but couldn't connect with anyone. Talk about false advertising. Need to fix your website and customer service. Went somewhere else on principle.
The most useless website I have ever encounter. Trying to order a few wines for some friends, either the website keep crashing and not responding, or when finally managed to get to the checkout billing address outside Australia is not recognized even if they say you can buy from all over the world as long as delivered is in Australia. Totally crap. It has now been 3 days and still impossible to place an online order. They auto chat is not working either. I have never experience such a poor and rubbish payment experience. Dan Murphy's team you have to get rid of your provider with a massive priority.

Scotch listed online for $52.50 paid for it with PayPal and shortly received SMS that it was ready to collect. On my way to collect, received an email to say that they are reimbursing my payment. No reason given. Later checked online to see the product is now not available at the store I was supposed to collect it from. Ok so I chose another nearby store, the whiskey shown as available priced at $52.50. Add it to cart, and hey presto it becomes $69! Not the first time this has happened. Get your act together Dan.

I was given a $50 Dan Murphy voucher and intended to spend it on home brew supplies. Their website mentioned home brew including the PET bottles I wanted. I tried to check with their store at Pasadena to make sure they had stock before I went there. That number wasn’t listed on the website so I called their 1300 number which timed out. I went to Pasadena and staff there were helpful but had no bottles or brew kits – I’d have to go to Marion for those - 8 km away and a long treck from the car park carrying 1.7 kg brew cans and 2 boxes of bottles.
Why are so many companies producing glossy websites that don’t provide basic information such as store phone numbers or whether all stores carry all items? Why can’t I speak with a human? I told the Pasadena staff how useless the 1300 number was and they replied that their direct number wasn’t listed for cost saving: Dan Murphy 1 - Customer 0. I’ve asked relatives to stick with Big W or Coles vouchers.
After ordering on line, I was informed that as this was the first time for home delivery, I would have to be home to accept the delivery. After waiting for ages I told an on line chat agent that I had received multiple home deliveries over the years. The agent told me that I would have to contact them in a few days to try to solve the issue. When I asked why that could not be done by their team, I was up against an archaic system and was cut off by the agent. Crap customer service
I used to like shopping at Dan Murphy's for the range and selection.
Due to their Corporate support and encouragement for the "Yes" referendum, they will never see another cent from me and my family.
Leave politics out of corporations and remove posturing, virtue signalling Executives and marketers from their positions.

My other order I requested cancelled didn’t get cancelled and hasn’t arrived still after 6 days.
What a load of rubbish.
And even after a store visit I couldn’t cancel the order.
Now I’m expected to be available on Monday between 8am - 12 pm

If I’m at work. They will return the item to the store. And I will need to pick it up as it can’t be refunded.

The store manager CAMERON was rude and refused to serve me at the counter because I had opened a can of beer to taste as I was advised by their own staff to open and taste it before buying the whole carton. He also refused to serve a unrelated customer because he assumed I was with her. His actions were motivated purely by revenge and discrimination. Very disappointing experience at Dan Murphys. Will file a complain formally to not to have this sort of senseless people as managers which ruin the whole shopping experience of customers. I will also write about my experience in all the blogs and review sites just to make sure that they stay away from the store manager CAMERON.
Raised safety/security concerns to Dan Murphy’s on 3 June 2023. On 18 June followed-up requesting response. It’s now 22 July and 7 weeks later there has still been no response. Not good enough.
Refused service because I let my teenages be my trolley. It wasn’t so much that they refused me service it was more the way it was done. Even though this woman come up and told me they couldn’t hold it, made us go get a trolley. Let us continue shopping then at the check out refused me service! Ridiculous!

I am visually impaired, I cannot navigate the website well, even my friends with full site, say that the site is a nightmare. I then ring Dan Murphys for answers to find out if the store I want to go to has what I want, I get a message to tell me that the service centre is closed and to go back to the website. This is extremely unhelpful. There are some elderly people who are not computer literate, they wouldn’t know how to get onto the site either. If Dan Murphys want to continue to make good profits, they should put their efforts into continuing to maintain. a phone service, which is there to answer our questions, rather than discriminating against people who are elderly or disabled and are unable to use the website.
On Thursday 12th April 2018 I bought an Edenvale Sparkling Cuvee so I could open it to celebrate my 41st Birthday tonight while I am eating New York Cheesecake with Colleen before going to bed.
I placed an online order for delivery. They attempted to deliver on 16/5, but as I wasn't at home they didn't leave it. I was left a card and asked to go online and arrange re-delivery which would happen before 6pm the next day, and asking to redirect if not at home. I arranged for delivery to my friend who lives next door and is home all day. Still nothing received on Wed. I contacted the courier customer service online as you cannot speak with anyone, and I got an automated response that a ticket had been raised and I would receive notification within the next 24-72 hours. I then called Dan Murphy and I cannot speak to a person either. I had to go online and speak to the Dan Bot via message, and then after a lot of back and forth Dan Bot put me through to a live person, that I also cannot speak with unless over chat. They contacted the courier company who assured us they would deliver by Friday. Still nothing. I called Dan Murphy again on Friday, who said they had escalated the matter and I would receive my delivery on Monday!!! It is now Tuesday, I still have not received my delivery, I am still getting the automated responses from the courier and Dan Murphy's still can't assure me 100% that I am going to now receive my delivery tomorrow. They also cannot advise what action they will take should this happen other than I need to once again go on the Dan Murphy chat and do it all over again.
