I tried to accept my gift. Website said being updated, try again. Tried again on Monday and Tuesday showed already accepted or expired. Had to tell the person who sent it to get their money back. 5 weeks later received reply to my original contact was sent email that it was wrapped and ready. Poor service. Never received.
Actual service is excellent. Finally! App is an ugly nightmare to use. Delivery time changes repeatedly from "immediately" to "two days". Impossible to change or cancel without closing app and "chatting" on the website.
I will never shop again from Dan so shome kind of respect our at least a voucher our two never shop here again…

Paid extra to select a delivery time. It did not deliver. Spent 63 minutes on the online chat. Each time I came to the top of the queue the Person ended the chat totally unresolved and totally pissed off
Terrible service! Did an online order $467 & paid for 2 hour window to be there. Then received text it was a different time. No phone numbers to phone. Spent a very long time talking to a robot to eventually have someone phone me back. Said if they can't deliver in the 2hr window I would cancel order & order from elsewhere. Assured me they would deliver today in the 2hr window. Waited! But NO delivery!! Now see I have received a different order number for tomorrow! NOT today!! What is going on Dan Murphys? Needed the items tonight!! And too late to get large quantities from another store delivered. Will be using other liquor stores from now. Too big and too faceless.
This afternoon i picked up an online order at the Doncaster East store. Dan Murphys appears to have no staff uniform policy or company uniforms. They can wear whatever they like. The male serving at the cash register was quite dismissive and aloof. He was wearing a hoodie which had a religious message printed in bold on it. I was astonished quite frankly given our family companies have a strict uniform policy. You wouldn’t know who were staff as they are all wearing different clothing. To be confronted with this regardless of my belief's, if any, is unacceptable. This is the last time we will buy from Dan Murphys regardless of price
I believe I lost something in Dan Murphys Lismore store and when I called their advertised 1 300 number, they direct you to their website. I found out you can only chat to someone but there was nothing I could see on my phone to contact them.
When you lose something, it's important to be able to call the venue and ask if it's been found. It took two days to engage an online BOT.

I have been waiting so far 9 business days for 1 carton of beer. I live in Leeton NSW, so not in the middle of nowhere, and it takes over two weeks to get something to me from within Australia. I get orders from England in no more than 7 days. It's Polish beer I'm waiting for, I should have ordered straight from Poland. I would have it by now.
Well lesson learnt don't use Dan Murphys again......
Edit. 10 days after I was told it was dispatched I get an email telling me it's out of stock, a refund has been given. What a joke this company is.
Great shop but horrible customer service. SOOO RUDE.!!! Would highly recommend they teach their customer service staff to speak politely and without a tone for asking questions....

Price beat?? Could not be true.
Went to the Spotswood store in Melbourne yesterday and showed a comparison which was $1.50 less per bottle of wine, then their advertised price.
Only to be told that we will match this but for only two bottles. Told them that the rivalry company had this for up to sixty bottles. Was told it would be for only six from Dans after asking.
Was only wanting 12 bottles.
Maybe consumer Affairs could look into this. It’s not the first time from different stores that this has happened. Price beat / match? when you drive 5 km only to be told of a 5c discount. Please look at what you advertise.
Money Stolen - Regular online purchaser through app. Have regular issues with the app but this time not knowing was signed out of my account placed order, overcharged by $88.00 no discount applied. Just paid as I normally do. Collected order thought it was very expensive re checked seen no discount applied. Contacted customer service. Bad luck can't help you. This was my response from Dan Murphys when asked why things had gone so wrong - I'm not sure, though I apologize for the inconvenience. I'm sorry I was not able to help with your enquiry today. Did you have something else I could assist with at all?

I closed our business account with Dan Murphy's because of the inability to resolve a simple matter which was just a password reset. The fact that I could not speak to anyone about this and that I spent over an hour typing messages to someone was infuriating. From this point forward we will be ordering our drinks from First Choice Liquor.
Love Dan Murphy as a retailer but their web site is poor.
Overall I am pleased with Dan Murphy - good range, good prices, good availability, respected advice on wines etc and are my preferred wine retailer - but their website is shocking!
Today- difficulty in changing pick up store , cumbersome and non intuititive payment process that just looped and finally couldn't get a store telephone number from website for a message I received about the order. In fact the store I use is not even recognised!! (Balwyn, Victoria).
I have experienced this a few times over the past 6 months and will now just buy in the store - it is quicker!
Dan Murphy- if you want to be a top retailer, you need a slick website that works! Fix your website and I'll be very happy to rate you as a 5 star retailer.
I was buying 10 cartons a fortnight. from Beenleigh. i just got band for 8 months ban because i questioned why they wouldn't honor their own 'beat any price' system. the staff member was rude to me and i responded in the same. They're the losers because First Choice will give me the same price as a Dan Murphy's member gets, which i was and match any price advertised too. So now i spend the 1000$ am month at First Choice. My house mate buys at First Choice 505 of the time now too.
I have to return an online order at Dan Murphy Frenchs Forest store in March. I received the wrong vintage for my cellar reserve wine. Tess Mcgrath, a very cheerful lady who helps me from the beginning to the end in a very professional manner. In fact this is the second time I have to return my order but the previous one is from a wedding party left over and I was served by another lady and she was very helpful too.
I am very happy with the service I received from this store.

Dan Murphy's is fabulous if they have what you want. But DONT TRY CONTACTING them.
It's impossible. Their 1300 number tells you to go to the Web site. Then the auto bot doesn't read your question OR connect you to a real person. I'm so disappointed. I'm an excellent customer and expect much better contact availability.
Milly at Launceston Dan Murphy’s has horrible service skills. She’s rude and extremely unprofessional, I saw her talking about customers to another employee manning the checkout. Absolutely appalled.
