I consistently get overcharged at the Camberwell Vic store. In the latest issue i purchased 4 bottles of Janz that were advertised at $24.90 each but the checkout ran it through at $25.90. I saw the store manager and showed him the error which he checked and just said we will refund the difference, no apology whatsoever. I then said that this store consistently gets it wrong, and always it is an overcharge, and his comment was we cant do anything its a system error. His attitude was just rube and arrogant and he just walked away while i was mid sentence. Because of the continual overcharges i was increasingly using other liquor outlets and this was a one off visit to a Murphys store, and guess what, i get overcharged, but this time it was the arrogance and dont give a damn attitude by the store manager that annoyed me the most.

On Tuesday 6 September at 0900 I went to Dan Murphy's (Canning Vale) for their 10 minute interview. I was told by a staff member to scan the QR code and fill in the application form. It did not work. Left my name and mobile number for them to call me back. Still waiting for the call back and today is Wednesday 7 September at 1515!!!!! So much so for them being short staffed.

I came to Dan Murphy's Leichhardt on a peaceful Sunday afternoon to witness a bogan customer shouting & ranting at a man making a purchase. Nothing was done to shut her up ...! Ruined my afternoon. So Now I go to Vintage Cellars which I find better all-round. With much better Member Specials & the convenience of Leichhardt Plaza shopping centre.

Market town Newcastle. Eftpos machine doesn’t work properly. The cow behind the counter was so rude I couldn’t believe it. She kept blaming me. Even when we had to move to another machine ( which worked) she couldn’t stop herself from throwing in a snide comment. Generally very good experience in this particular Dan Murphy’s. But this woman’s attitude completely threw me. How someone like that can be put in direct contact with the general public is beyond me.

This is the second time they attempted to charge full price on a buy two and get discount deal. When I raised the issue with the cashier and the situation corrected the cashier sarcastically said are you happy now.

Probably the worst delivery experience I’ve had for years. Purchased a gift wrapped bottle of scotch for a friends 50th. Allowed 7 business days for delivery. Now after 10 days it still hasn’t been delivered. I have had two SMS’s on seperate days advising me that it’s onboard for delivery, but it doesn’t arrive. The delivery has missed the birthday party! And even worse is Dan Murphey’s have to email the 3rd party carrier, wait two business days for a response and then let me know where the shipment is. In other words, there’s no direct system link with the carrier. Had I known I would have purchased locally and shipped myself. Not good enough.

Gift wines stolen in transit. I have video proof because i live in a secure apartment that only one case of three was delivered. It was for a gift for a heart surgeon that brought me back from being a pensioner to being able to go to work again. The label on the box had 1/# instead of 1/3 which may be a typo, however was the delivery driver signed off that all three were delivered it would appear that there may be a criminal ring through out the delivery process. The case is currently being reviewed, however as I have proof and run several businesses it makes sense to make the customer happy and then catch the thieves.

twice never showed up. This time over 3 hours on a 2 hour delivery. They say they cant deliver it now and has to be tomorrow. Dan Murphys/Woolworths a disappointment cause they rely on 3rd party delivery drivers rather than hire their own. Cheap costs will cost you credibility. When will companies realise this. Wake up and start to treat your customers like you want them. Amateur company.

Absolutely horrible experience trying to order alcohol for a friend as a surprise present on there website and get it delivered. Changed the store to my local store then placed in the details of who i want my purchase to go to. Dan Murphy's website stated they do not deliver. What ?? Tried again same message Dan Murphy do not deliver I got this message 5 times. Then changed my local store to the store nearest to my friends house. They then stated they now deliver. I find it weird in this day and age 2022 that they do not have a central database for all orders because it just refused my order 6 times. Finally after changing it to my friends local store it stated we can deliver after another 30 minutes stuffing around with my details and delivery details the order was placed. This is the last time i will ever use there website to buy anything. Next time i will buy it in store and just give it to my friend.

Terrible delivery service! Get a text to say delivery is due today by Ratu next text says we attempted delivery at 1.19 pm but were unsuccessful. We live in a retirement complex with a concierge - concierge confirm they we’re definitely present at that time - there is also a clear contact number on the desk to call if no one is there, my mobile number is also on the Dan Murphy’s account, no numbers were rung. I do not believe any attempt was made to deliver our order. The text gives a link that allows you to do nothing but rebook a delivery in 2 days time, I tried calling the 1300 number it tells you to go to the website then cuts you off. I went to the website and did a live chat they tell me the driver tried to deliver but have no evidence that they did? Can’t do anything but wait for delivery in 2 days time! A brick wall so you can’t talk to anyone. Spoke to a friend tonight who lives in the same complex who often orders from Dans, her last delivery got delivered to a hotel across the car park from the complex where we live ( and that was after the driver called her because he couldn’t find the address - our building is 6 storeys high with 4 adjacent blocks it is also sign posted from the nearest roundabout and is very prominent) she had to arrange to get her liquor moved to here herself! Don’t bother ordering on line for home delivery it’s a rubbish service that causes stress and disappointment.

DO NOT USE DAN MURPHYS' DELIVERY SERVICE 10th May 2022 .... I ordered wine and liquor for a party on Saturday 14th May 2022. It is now 17th May 2022 and I am still waiting. It appears the delivery man doesn't tell the truth. He said I was not home. I waited ALL DAY for delivery. If anyone presses our door bell our dog goes ballistic. I have WASTED 2 days waiting for delivery and now I am told delivery will not be until 17th May 2022. THIS WILL BE THE 3RD DAY I HAVE WASTED

Absolutely terrible service, you wait all day for a delivery, I tracked the order, they said an attempt was made to deliver but we weren't home. I later discovered they tried to deliver next door. Here's a tip for the driver; check the house number carefully. Complete joke of a service!!

Family member ordered me a gift to be delivered to my home, it took 7 days to schedule the delivery however I had to change it as no adults would be at home, they tried to deliver it anyway, when my son told them he could not sign for it they marked it as delivered anyway. I contacted Dan Murphy's on chat (no other option, cannot speak to customer service), they told me it would be delivered today as I had originally requested, it did not arrive, contacted them again, the told me that it could now be delivered tomorrow (frustrating as I had especially organised to be at home today for this reason)...rescheduled for next Wednesday... pray for me... I will need a drink by then...

Someone was waiting at the house all day and your delivery man decided not to knock, or was too slack. I called the help centre and they could not help? What is this a third world country. Disgusting!! Let me please know what your decission is. Already the birthday gift was f'ed up by you all. Please return my money. Please let me know when I will receive the funds in my account. The Dan Murphy name has delapitated considerably. How sad. The reviews I am about to place is not pleasant I can assure you.

No one to speak to, no matter how hard you try. Website doesn’t work about 90% of the time, literally. Wanted to assist my order, impossible because cannot open the website. This has been going on for is DAYS! Prices are great but that doesn’t do much good if you can’t ever make contact to get the stuff. Would give 0 stars if were possible.

Shocking service. Wrong thing delivered, apparently 'substituted' because my order was out of stock. I'm STILL waiting for a refund a week after the incorrect order was picked up.

No online customer help only a robot, if you want to live chat no good either want speak to real person is out of the question. Do not give your money to Dan Murphy they do not deserve it. They happy to take your money but you if need help,good luck.

One star because I can't go any lower. Hard to log on, can't get prices. For such a popular company, try and get your website in order, it is absolutely impossible to get any product prices

I would give zero if i could. I made an order for $555 worth of alcohol for an event, they confirmed the order. I went back online to check the status a while later only to see it had been cancelled without notifying me. However they took the money from my card. They now say it can take 2-5days to refund. I have no money now to pay for the alcohol for the event. This money had been transfered to me from others for the event, so I have effectively ruined the event.

I ordered my orders on 4 February with the order number 122949969 four weeks later and it’s still not here there was two items I received one package two weeks later but the other one still missing I say the curious about pocket in it or Dan Murphys are not holding up to the terms and condition tried contacting Dan Murphys and I get his computer that doesn’t understand nothing now the lost of $70 as a pensioner its disappointing and still getting nothing and out of pocket
