Appalling customer service
This was my first flight with Czech Airlines. It started off badly when the gate number on my boarding pass was in a completely different part of Prague airport to the gate that was actually (first) announced. Ok - not sure if that is common or not. Anyway - we go through the gate security and sit down, waiting for the flight. I buy a bottle of water from the vending machine to get me through the flight. About 20 mins go by and I realise that the waiting area is half empty. I check on my phone and it says that the gate has been changed. So, I leave the gate area and go to check the screens outside. They now don't have a gate number at all. Doesn't say anything about whether the fight has been delayed. I find out from google (nothing from Czech airlines) that the flight is delayed 2 hours. Finally they announce a different gate - have to throw away my water to go through security again - and we wait. I check google again and flight delay has increased to 3 hours. No announcement at all from the airline. We finally board the flight and we don't even get an apology or explanation for the delay. Airline didn't care. I've since submitted a compensation claim for the exactly 3 hours delay and have heard nothing from them after 3 weeks. Just avoid if you can.
