Too slow and not clear how slow it would be
Their order processing and delivery was abysmal. I mailed them several times over 3 weeks without a sensible response. They only delivered the kettle when I asked for my money back.
Value for money
Very unprofessional service and not very clear on extra charges(optional ones). i have purchased Delonghi Dinamica Bean to cup coffee machine, there was option (€5) for express order processing. So I have opted for that, but what is the point of this express order processing if courier pick up this order 3 days later? Coffee machine arrived, well packed week later, not too bad to be honest. Then 2 days after started using it I noticed leak inside the machine that was leaking into the tray and very quickly overflowing on the counter. Reported to the seller, they asked me to reset to factory setting and descale machine.... well OK there are some procedures, so I did it even I knew this is nothing to do with descaling. After I've done it, sent videos to the seler liiking for further steps, but no response. Just to mention they are open 7-5PM! (2PM Irish time) and even if you call them within the opening hours they drop you straight away to the voice mail, claiming they will concat you soon, which as you guessed is not happening.
Always use a well known competitor, but was messed around. So i searched for other Lelit suppliers, and ordered new water tank for my Mara x. Top notch, delivery faster then advertised. Thank you.
Tried placing an order but for some reason their system wouldn’t complete the order? Took screenshots etc, immediately emailed requesting that they honour the order or at least explain why the order wasn’t excepted? Received woeful customer service which failed repeatedly to address my request & gave incoherent excuses which ultimately led to their complete refusal to honour their advertised price/promotion. Totally waste of time & effort. Major disappointment.
I purchased a Philips grill, the delivery took around 2 weeks, but it was expected. No tracking, but the grill arrived at time, so I am happy. Also it comes with a European plug and an adapter to the UK socket. It was good, do no problem with it. So coffefriend offers much better prices compared to UK street shops, but you need wait a while.
Exactly what I needed. Speedy delivery. And better price than others.

An absolute disaster of a company. I ordered a coffee machine on the 2nd January 2025. After several phone calls asking where it was, I was eventually told it would be in stock on the 17th January. On the 17th January I contacted them and they told me it was in stock and being dispatched in the next 48 hours. In the 19th January, I contacted them and they told me that Royal Mail were picking it up that afternoon. 10 minutes later, I received an email to state there was a delay with my order. I immediately called them to be told it hadn't even arrived in stock yet. I then spoke to a manager who "guaranteed" that it would be sent out by the 21st January 2025 or he would call me. I contacted them again on the 22nd January to be told it hadn't been sent out so I cancelled the order. I also started a PayPal discussion with the supplier. On the 23rd January they emailed me to say it was going out for delivery. I called them to tell them it had been cancelled but they said it was too late to stop the delivery and to refuse it. On the 24th January, I refused the delivery and the supplier received the item back on the 27th January. Since then, they have refused to deal with my refund (over £600) and it has taken until today, 12th February 2025 for PayPal to award in my favour. Untrustworthy liars and completely unprofessional. 0 stars if it was an option
I don’t usually leave reviews but wanted to give positive feedback for this company. I was very worried after reading negative reviews that I might be making the wrong choice for a major purchase. In fact my Ascaso Steel Duo arrived within 3 days in perfect order. Most of the poor reviews relate to an EU plug. Really, what is the big deal? It works perfectly with the adapter. I also got the best price available anywhere AND a hundred quid worth of free kit through a voucher. I only took one star off because the free voucher bits and bobs took a little longer to arrive. However their customer service and communications were excellent throughout. Ignore the haters!
At the time of order, it was stated that it would be delivered within 8-12 working days (actually initially it said in stock at our central warehouse for delivery in 1-3 days, but that changed as I placed the order). On working day 13, I gave a chase up and was told the order was shipping that day. It didn’t. Working day 15 the order finally arrived. The time delay isn’t my issue - things happen - I just don’t like being lied to by companies. Wouldn’t look to use them again.
Quick delivery and good value
Hi, I bought a nespresso coffee machine few weeks back. The delivery was okay. After using just a few times, I have noticed recently the water flow of the coffee machine is not that good. Can't figure it out whether it's faulty or not. If it is, is there any possibility to replace the machine and give a new one? The only issue is I don't have the original box or package of the machine. I believe it's in the warranty period. So is there any chance to solve the issue please. Will wait for the response.
I’ve ordered two products, they came with the wrong plugs. I wanted to return them, only one QR code was provided and never got my refund. Terrible service, nobody responds to my emails.
Order was delivered promptly, well packaged and as described. Pricing was reasonable for genuine Aeropress items. Would recommend. Thank you Coffee Friend.
