The product itself absolutely fine, as expected. My review is based on the misleading information on delivery timeframes and attitude from customer service - When I purchased it was on the basis of 3-5 days to dispatch and paid postage so I reasonable expected to receive in 5 days, maybe a week. 3 weeks past, and I'm still getting dismissive messaged from customer service live chat that it can't be helped that their supplier was delayed and the item therefore wasn't yet with them to ship. This is a common item, available from multiple websites - I picked Coffee Friend on a balance of price and timing, but now suspect I would have got it just as quickly from a cheaper website being more upfront about their delivery times.

Delivery took nearly 3 weeks! And when arrived neither appliance works. The plugs are 2 pin for European use and the adaptors supplied are unusable and unsafe. Have asked supplier, coffeefriend for a full refund. No response@
The kettle came with a two pin plug and an adapter which I found impossibly difficult to use. .Had to go and buy a new three pin and replace the two pin. Not what you expect to have to do with a new expensive kettle

I ordered my coffee machine over 3 weeks ago and I have still not received it. According to the website I should have received it within 1 - 2 weeks. I have followed up twice and although the people I have spoken to have been polite I have still not received confirmation of when my machine will be sent to me. In the meantime I keep receiving offers for coffee which is rubbing salt in the wound as I am not able to use any coffee as this machine is replacing an old one that broke. Drinking instant coffee for nearly a month was not what I was expecting when I ordered through Coffee Friend.
Ordered coffee machine on 10th of December with lead delivery to be 2 weeks time. Have been waiting until mid if January for delivery after numerous calls to this company and no update from their site. You should definitely improve your communication with suppliers and customers and put realistic times for delivery. Even the machine was send from Germany I am sure it was not brought on foot. The walk will take less days than the delivery.

My order took a long time to arrive, after a week I emailed to check that it was on it's way to which I received no reply but it did turn up 2 days later. The mugs I ordered look great but don't keep drinks hot.
