A Nightmare Move with an Unethical, Disrespectful Company_Coastal Moving Service
This relocation was one of the most damaging, deceitful, and emotionally taxing experiences of my life. I was quoted an estimate of roughly $4,000. In the end, I paid more than $8,000—and not by choice. The team claimed the truck couldn't hold our belongings, despite having detailed photos and a complete inventory well in advance. Their planning was careless, their communication dishonest, and their professionalism nonexistent.
Halfway through the loading process, the crew simply stopped. Refused to continue. Left us stranded mid-move. As someone who manages a chronic health condition, the mental and physical toll this caused was devastating. And despite being financially responsible, I had to borrow money just to get through this sham of a service.
Delivery was another betrayal: promised for 3:00 PM, arrived after 6:00 PM. The unloading? A disgrace. Items were tossed into our home like garbage. Furniture scratched, valuables broken, property damaged. Not once did the crew show an ounce of care or accountability.
