Churchill Reviews

Churchill call centre is only open Monday to Friday so issues that arise on a weekend cannot be sorted until the following Monday. The call centre appears to be located in the Indian -Subcontinent - so the accent of many call handlers is difficult for those with mild-moderate hearing difficulties. The Automated call answering system requires then caller to answer a number of security questions which can take up to 5-minutes to complete and annoyingly when put through to a human call handler , you have to go through the same security questions again with them - pointless - taking up to 10 minutes before you get to actually discuss the issue at hand.

Good communication on phone

Churchill blamed me for an accident later the court blamed the othe driver.

Still awaiting a renewal package through the post .

simple to follow and a cheaper quote than my renewal not the cheapest but a recognised insurer means a lot

I have never had to make a claim in the past, but could not have better service than i had from Churchill Thank you.

Policy I purchased is very comprehensive and meets all my requirements.

Efficient and competitive quote and price that meets my needs

Churchill uses a incompetent uncaring third party to settle claims, worst ever experience with any insurance company and still my claim has not been settled due to third party not providing reimbursement of VAT despite documents and receipts

Efficient service and knowledgeable staff.

Very good, very easy and very reassuring.

Call centre operator was very articulate and helpful with sound product knowledge.

Easy to use the website and renewal was straight forward.

I purchased my car insurance through yourselves, told to download the app where I can change or add drivers, guess what downloaded the app but can log into check my policy I've called you's 3 times to tell you & all I get ill pass it on to IT, spoke with IT for nearly an hour he couldn't figure it out & dropped the call without even calling me back, policy due to start next week & I'm still unsure if everything is OK, wish I'd stuck with my previous insurance as I've not had any problems, I only changed because of price.

Received renewal.and was quoted 50% higher than Admiral. Called to cancel policy, long wait only to be cut off. Entered chat and was told they may take 40 minutes to reply. I made it clear In the ope ung the chat message I was seeking to cancel policy.Eventually received reply but by that time had lost will to live and left my desk. They said the chat was ended and to contact back However incredibly these incompetent idiots registered a claim! I am now being chased for more details. Astounding. This incompetence will probably now effect my record. Trying to contact them again is impossible. I can only presume these people wfh and Loose Women took their attention Paddy, I did get in touch with you and opened a chat to cancel my policy. You then opened a claim. I tried calling and was cut off. Your wait times are a joke. Customer service is at Churchill is nothing short of appalling!

Takes too long to say what went wrong

Communication throughout claim was excellent.

Good company

I recently had to file a claim with Churchill Cycling Insurance, and I was assisted by Tristan throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, he was professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. Tristan kept me updated at every stage, always providing clear explanations and making sure I fully understood each step. He also went the extra mile to answer all of my questions, handle adjustments quickly, and ensure that the replacement process was smooth and stress-free. Thanks to his guidance and efficiency, what could have been a complicated and frustrating situation turned into a straightforward and positive experience. I am very grateful for his outstanding service and highly recommend mentioning Tristan if you ever need assistance with Churchill.

Good price and product. Communication excellent
