Miese Versicherungsmasche, wie überall beschrieben Sie wollen einem eine komplett überteuerte Versicherung andrehen. Wenn man sie nicht nimmt, verrechnen sie mindestens 350 Euro auch bei den kleinsten Kratzern. Zudem verrechnen sie noch irgendwelche x-beliebige Gebühren und der Pickup funktioniert auch nicht wie gewünscht. Lieber mehr zahlen, nie wieder Centauro!!

J'ai donné 1 étoile juste pour la voiture qui était ok. Pour le reste.... nous avons loué notre voiture à Athènes et le staff est horrible ! On parle au staff qui ne prend même pas la peine de nous répondre, attente hyper longue (1h) et des voleurs !! Nous devons payer une 2eme fois l'assurance alors que nous en avions déjà prise une 3x moins chère que la leur sur booking en réservant une voiture chez eux.... plus jamais

Mange biludlejningsfirmaer er nogle platugler, men ikke Centauro - de har styr på det! Lejede en bil 5 dage ved Bergamo lufthavn. God pris, fin bil, god service (og ikke så meget p!s med ekstra forsikring) (ok - heldigvis ingen skader, her kan det jo blive lidt bøvlet...)

Del veintiséis al treinta de mayo del presente año alquiló un coche del grupo F1 y me dan un Jeep Compass posteriormente alquilo un coche del grupo f4 a que es un grupo superior más caro y me dan el mismo coche el vende empleado de Centauro responde que si bien es el mismo coche es de un modelo superior al comprobarlo salvo una tecla compruebo que es el mismo modelo de coche el empleado de Centauro José dice que únicamente hay ese coche no me da opción a cambiarlo por uno superior o uno inferior por motivos de trabajo tengo que cogerlo a la fuerza pero debido a la actitud desempleado me veo obligado a no volver a alquilar en centauro cuando yo alquilaba un coche una vez al mes

Nous avons loué une voiture ( Peugeot 3008 )pour une durée de 14 jours. Soit du 16 au 30 mai 2025.Le prix étant plus bas que la compétition, nous anticipions des problèmes lors du ramassage de la voiture. Hé bien non, on a même obtenu une voiture upgradé vu que celle louée n'était pas disponible à notre heure de prise de possession. Une automatique au lieu d'une manuelle. Le retour de la voiture s'est fait rapidement et sans anicroches.

Grote boeven bende alles geboekt via hun site inclusief extra verzekering bij aankomst op lucht haven werd ons vertelt dat we borg moesten betalen voor de benzine en de auto 2x maal gevraagd of we beide bedragen terug kregen bij het inleveren ja we kregen beide bedragen terug tot op heden alleen de benzine borg terug en na contact met de klante service blijkt dat de borg van de auto geen borg is maar nog een verzekering en kunnen we fluiten naar onze 300 euro mensen wees gewaarschuwd grote boeven bende niet mee in zee gaan

Scammed by a woman in the Corfu branch. I have video proof of a scratch on the bumper and was still charged £300 for it. Shameless scam practice and there seems to be no way to properly contest it with evidence as I've had no reply via email for 3 weeks... First time I've gone here to leave a review and there seems to be another similar experience from the Corfu branch so they must be charging multiple times from the same scratch.

I wish it was possible to give this company zero stars but the system forces at least one star. Do not rent a car from Centauro. We rented a car from Alicante airport for 10 days in April and ended up being double charged for their insurance cover EUR 270 which we said we didn't need (we had taken out excess insurance elsewhere), plus charged the EUR 1,400 excess amount deposit not returned, plus charged EUR 300 for a miniscule scratch which was probably there before, plus the fuel amount charge of EUR 105 was not returned (only EUR 75 was) despite returning the car with a full fuel tank. In total they owe us EUR 1700!! The company has still not responded to our emails first sent 3 weeks ago on 12 May. Our telephone calls to their central Madrid office and local Alicante office are not answered (lines go dead after hanging on for a few minutes).

We hired a car from Centauro in Lisbon. The shuttle from the airport was too busy and infrequent which meant we had to get an Uber from the car lot so as to avoid missing our flight! The check in process was also extremely slow and the lady running the process was rude and very unhelpful. Would not recommend or use again.

Frodatori. Scrivo una seconda recensione a distanza di 2 settimane dalla precedente che ho lasciato. Ho noleggiato un'auto all'aeroporto di Siviglia e dopo un mese ancora non mi hanno restituito i 112 euro di anticipo carburante. Al momento della restituzione mi hanno assicurato che mi avrebbero restituito i soldi, sottolineando che il serbatoio era stato riempito più del dovuto. Nonostante 2 mail mandate 3 settimane fa (l'ultima il 19/05) e aver parlato con un operatore che mi ha dichiarato che la situazione era anomala e che avrebbe parlato direttamente con l'ufficio di Siviglia per farmi restituire i soldi, ad oggi niente. Continuano a tenersi la caparra e non accenano ad aiutatarmi. Nemmeno il supporto telefonico. Poi nei loro commenti INUTILI a queste recensioni ti postano il link per il supporto clienti - GIA CONTATTATO AMPIAMENTE. Sono solo dei ladri, è indecente questa situazione. Come promesso nella mia ultima mail sto procedendo col mio avvocato, voglio vedere se adesso rispondono. Truffatori e basta. Evitate questo noleggio come la peste, devono solo fallire altro che.

Just had an awful experience with Centauro. Arrived at 10.30 pm, half an hour before their advertised closing before you have to pay a late fee. We then had to wait 90 minutes in a queue to get the car, which meant no one was available till 12am. The woman who ‘served’ us spoke so rapidly and in a heavy accent so we couldn’t understand what she was saying.We asked for clarification but she just got impatient and still didn’t explain properly or clearly. I’ve now just checked the ‘contract’ and see they’ve charged us £40 late fee, even though we arrived on time! To add to the stress the bay she gave was incorrect so on top of everything we had to search for the car elsewhere. Extremely poor and dishonest ‘service’. Avoid!

It was easy and fast pick up service new car and easy and fast returnig it🙂🙃 staff very polite

Upon arrival at the office in Alicante I was told by the desk agent that there was no car available for me. He stated that all cars were being used and that I needed to phone the telephone number on my booking and ask the person to refund my money so I could go elsewhere for a car. I asked why this had happened and was told that the company was overbooked. I stated that I would not be phoning the company to ask for a refund (as this would cost me money in phone bills), and asked the agent to allow me to use one of the phones there. He refused to do this. I refused to make the phone call and was told that it was my only option. I stated that as this ‘over-selling’ was not my error that they should help me with the phone call. I then asked to speak to a manager to discuss options and also compensation for my troubles. At this point the desk agent asked to wait. He then spent a time on the system and then (as if by magic) found me the exact car which I had rented. I am concerned as to why this happened and why the agent was convinced there was no car, then suddenly (when I complained and asked to speak with a manager) one was found. The situation made me feel targeted and I would appreciate a response on this matter. The car itself was in good working order and drop off was fine. Insurance was an issue as the choice handed to me was 1400 (Euro) deposit or 189 (Euro) all inclusive - this even though I had bought the premium insure when booking through a 3rd party provider. Whole experience with the company has left me with little trust.

I was nervous renting from centauro after reading some of their questionable reviews but can now speak with confidence on how excellent the Alicante branch was. Being 19 I was hit with no hidden fees, no trouble and was provided with a clean car, fully insured, for a week for less than 300 euros. I understand how people have had issues and it comes from using 3rd party comparison sites and not being covered directly by centauros insurance. Book through centauro, get the insurance and you'll have a trouble free experience at half the cost of any of the other major providers.

Avoid Centauro Rent a Car – Scam and Dishonest Practices Centauro lures customers in with very low prices, but it’s a trap. At check-out, they suddenly claim the car has damage that was never there. Even when I showed clear before-and-after photos proving the damage didn’t exist, they refused to listen. They forced the claim on me, closed the contract without my consent, and ignored all my objections. I spoke to two or three other people, including colleagues, who confirmed I was right – the damage was fabricated. But because the contract had already been closed (against my will), they refused to take any responsibility. This company operates in bad faith, looking to scam tourists by inventing damage and pressuring customers to pay. Stay far away from Centauro – it’s not worth the risk.
