Brightside is wonderful! Wonderful therapist! Excellent platform that is updated for ease of use. I truly feel cared for and listened to. Medication is only one part of my journey. Counseling, exercise and relaxation techniques also helpful.

This has been a great experience so far. It’s really helpful to check in once a week for myself to gage how things are going and Brianna Johnson is awesome

The wonderful PA knew and understood exactly what I needed. I have struggled with depression most of my life. I know what activities I need to address. She so understood that I know my body and I needed different medication.

I had used this service for a total of 5 months to help treat depression and anxiety. I had a long history with having already tried antidepressants and other medications for this. After not having a positive response to several antidepressants (and failing with over 20 meds over a couple decades) I had asked them to consider one medication that had helped me before, which isn't a controlled substance but is an MAOI. My provider said they needed to consult with another psychiatrist at Brightside about this first and that it could take up to a week. Three weeks later the provider said they were still waiting and did not hear back. So my depression continues to get worse and eventually I decided to use Cerebral instead, and after explaining my situation to the provider there, they got me the medication I need on my first appointment. So bottom line, this service seems to have restrictions that aren't disclosed, and if you're dealing with major depression and anxiety, they might just leave you on hold for a few weeks instead of providing the treatment you need. It would've been better if the consult came back immediately and said that they wouldn't do this, instead of just doing nothing for 3 weeks. It was extremely unprofessional and I thought it was important that I share this issue here, so others don't end up in the same situation. It seems the provider is qualified enough to charge insurance $300 for an intake, but not qualified enough to actually make their own decision, and anytime you need to get in touch with support like billing, it also takes over a week. The website also has issues, options that don't work like the cancellation button, and messaging your provider has a glitch where it clears the text box before you press send. Sometimes the video call gets disconnected and then there's no way to reconnect It's overall a very bad experience.

I'm very impressed with both my psychiatric provider and my therapist with Brightside. Each provider listens well, pays attention ton my needs and has helped me a great deal.

My therapist disappeared and I was reassigned to a new one without any notice. I also keep getting pestered with emails and texts to schedule an appt but I was just seen and have plenty of medicine. Someone needs to review the alerts that go out. It’s so overwhelming.

I am so happy with Dr. Isaac. She is so easy to talk to and extremely responsive when you have a question.

My therapist, Georgia, has been very kind and supportive throughout my sessions. I found lessons 1 and 2 to be of much help in lowering my anxiety and confusion. I am not a journalist and I found the 'homework' adding to my feelings of being overwhelmed and stressed. I wish I had understood from the beginning that the lessons were to help but not a requirement of the therapy process. Since learning this my therapy sessions have become much more important and of genuine assistance in sorting through my issues. I'm am sure that the lessons do help the majority of people but it just wasn't so in my case. I realized I was seeking to win the approval of my therapist rather than actually doing the lessons for myself. Thank goodness, Georgia kept checking in with me and assured me that we could continue without the lessons. I'm grateful to her and this service. It has been a life saver.

Brightside has been easy to navigate and has worked wonders for my mental health! Online therapy works best for my schedule so I love the convenience.

Terrible -- nurse practioner put me on medication with terrible side effects then did not appear to know much about the side effects so I had to call the drug manufacturer in India. I will never seek services again here. She has not reached out to see if I will continue with her.
