It’s been good

I was in a desperate situation and my therapist helped tremendously but then I lost me insurance.

I went through a traumatic experience and bright side was there to help me. Very grateful for them!

Bait and switch by charging you "processing" rates and not what I signed up for. Still chasing payments twice the going rate a year later and they can never explain themselves with a full statement.

I love my therapist. I have zero issues there and I hope to continue working with her. However, billing is sketchy. They said I had a $30 co-pay per visit which I expected but then I would randomly be charged different amounts even when I didn’t have an appt with my therapist. $20, $25 etc for nothing. I emailed about this issue and I was told “Oh, your co-pay is actually $45 so those number should be $45 not $20 or $25.” How does that even make sense? How do you determine it suddenly changes and charge me for “visits” I didn’t even have. I feel like I’m just being charged for the hell of it. I hate to say it feels like a scam because I truly do like my therapist and I’ll be sad to discontinue over billing.

Extremely spotty service even when I had excellent internet on my end. The “psychiatrist” repeated the same questions I already filled out and did not attempt to get to know me or personalize her recommendations. I then cancelled their service after 2 visits and received a pretty hefty bill two months later even though they quoted me as having no additional responsibility beyond my co pays due to their “special” relationship with my insurance. Be careful of what seems to be deceptive advertising and catch and bait type of billing. It seems they’ll do anything to get you to sign up only to send you bills later on down the road. Pretty awful company in my opinion.

The people. Alicia! But really the whole interface and service. This has made treatment accessible for me.

Easy check in platform you can fill out at your convenience. Easy scheduling and best of all a counselor/physician that listens and makes proper suggestions based on my individual experiences. AA++!

Knowledgeable Attentive Kind

You are assessable. You respect a persons privacy. Maybe that’s good and not so good. Unless I share my experience with another person then no one would know. I like that. I don’t like being given a therapist I don’t gel with and that’s a negative. I love my nurse though. She seems dedicated to her cause and like she herself said thinks out of the box. I will recommend you to anyone looking for mental health services.

I have absolutely loved my experience with Brightside. The process was so easy and it’s affordable if you don’t have insurance. In regard to my symptoms of anxiety, they have improved greatly and I am getting back to normal. I love love love Brightside Health and my provider as well. I’d also like to note that I’ve been a member for a couple months now.
