I feel very comfortable when speaking with my counselor.
I was at a loss because our mental health center closed. I was going to have to go to a “big box” rehab center turned mental health center and start from scratch after 20 some years. I was really upset. Brightside has been a godsend. They LISTEN, and my provider is super nice and smart. I highly recommend this as a way to get help.
I absolutely love my therapist. She is so kind and empathetic. I’m so glad this app exists.
Everyone has gotten back to me within 1-2 days, also, I was able to quickly schedule with a therapist and find someone who specializes in specific areas I need.
It’s been very helpful being able to do virtual calls with a counselor every week!
I was a client of their for 2 years. My provider was away and I wast informed. I logged in to find a different provider on my profile so I contacted customer support as I needed a refill. They said to just message the covering therapist for my refills so I did. She never answered me. I canceled my subscription and have found a new provider.
My therapist is wonderful. My psychiatrists have both been a different story. I would strongly advise if you are going to need medical records of any kind, the process is very daunting and added a great deal of stress to my life over the past few months. Response times are extremely slow and there is no sense of urgency with providing you with medical records or assistance.
I canceled my appointment, but your support team has not responded to my ticket. Unfortunately, it appears that your system is set up to prevent customers from accessing cancellation information. But they are quick to charge $120
The literal worst. I spoke with a provider for 10 minutes, she informed me that my current medication was the appropriate course. I appreciated her candor and she told me that she would seek to have my fees waived. Fast forward, Brightside informs me that since I met with a provider, regardless of the outcome, I have to pay. Paid $300 for a 10 minute call. Avoid. This is a scam.
The pharmacy advised they would not fill my prescription due to the dr not having a valid license number. I never got a response back after trying to reach out to bright side. I definitely no longer want to continue. Nothing is ever as it seems with your company. Most of my sessions were over within 15 minutes with no results. For people who need more stable help from a therapist this is for sure not a company I will ever recommend to anyone!
The therapists themselves are good. The Brightside provider administrator is not. I had to go through tons of issues to get my insurance fixed which resulted in multiple emails and severely delayed responses. They also pulled out of network with my insurance carrier mid year with no notice. I will never use this provider again. Very disappointed as almost a 2 yr customer and no advance warning about the changes. The year prior to this they billed Aetna all my monthly charges, then held on to the funds for an entire year and then refunded them without explanation. I shouldn't have been paying the entire time during that year but their billing department got it wrong.
I was meeting with a great therapist and felt like it was going well. I had a session scheduled and she was a no show. Normally she would message if she would have to cancel. I sat on the video for 20 minutes before leaving. I messaged my therapist twice (allowing more than 24 hours to respond) and she never responded. I emailed support and the response I received was to reschedule my session. When I asked why my therapist is not responding customer service said they are unable to provide any information.
Help is at my fingertips and a screen away. I love the check ins as well.
She is caring, listening and suggests different possibilities. She offers a possible perspective Based on what we are working on she gives me homework
So far it’s easy to use, very efficient and spot on.
I love the ease of using brightside. It’s exactly what I was looking for with my busy schedule and specifically needs. So grateful for the help I’ve received
Great service providers! Love that everything is all in one place. Felt cared for and truly valued. Only suggestion would be having the ability to schedule more than 1 therapy apt at a time. Only can do week by week once current session is complete and that makes it difficult to work around other things. Would be great to be able to schedule either a standing apt weekly or several future appointments at 1 time.

My psychiatrist and therapist are both wonderful. They make me feel comfortable. No judgement, just great advice and they actually listen to your concerns. I’ve had an amazing experience so far.
