Scam services. They ARE NOT A LEGITIMATE full service psychiatric company. They are very LIMITED in what they are LEGALLY ALLOWED to prescribe, and they aren't forthright about this, because they hope to charge your insurance for two appointments, before you find this out. They are relying on disappointing, ill informed drug addicts that are trying to get high, by scheduling two appointments, under false pretenses. This company can legally bill your insurance for two office visits this way, before the patient finds out that the services offered do not meet their psychiatric needs. They advertise like they can do more than services like HERS\HIMS because they accept insurance. Psychologist for therapy first, and then psychiatrist for meds, which is where they're going to fall short, and be unable to treat you, and tell you you have to go elsewhere. Immediately after I scheduled my appointment, I talked to my sister, who informed me of this. I hung up with her and was talking to somebody at brightside, within 10 minutes of scheduling my appt, in order to verify what medications they were allowed to prescribe, and then cancel my appointment. They are charging me the full amount that they would be paid by insurance, as the cancellation fee. $120 for therapy appt and $160 for medication management appt. I tried to speak to somebody in upper management, and I was refused any help further help. As a medical biller, coder and auditor, I know what they are legally allowed to do and not do as far as billing patients, and this is not legal. Furthermore, in a few weeks, I will be approved for disability, and Medicaid, which will create a whole other slew of violations for them to continue to try to bill me, and still no customer service resolution was found. I asked the customer service rep to please make a note on my account, of these things, but I doubt anything will happen, and I am quite sure they will continue to try to bill me illegally.
