No help with insurance/no helpful advice
I had a psychiatrist for medication and a counselor. Things started off well with the psychiatrist. Then she prescribed a medication for which my insurance co. needed a prior authorization. Although I provided all the contact info for her to do this, she refused. Therefore the medication was not covered. She just told me to "find a coupon" for it. No- I have insurance and I want it to pay their portion. The counselor seemed nice at first, but every time I saw her she asked the same questions and gave the same advice. I don't think she remembered me from appointment to appointment. Her advice was basically to tell me to think differently. Not the least bit helpful after years of trauma.
