I think with Brightside the doctors…
I think with Brightside the doctors really listen and take everything into consideration.
Brightside Health has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
Therapist Joyce is amazing
I had a very pleasent experience and will be booking again!
Compassionate and honest. It’s what I need to hear and I get to say what I need to say. Thank you Brightside caregivers.

It’s all good friendly staff. I’m on the 30 day $30 plan currently I’m on Medicare with part G and hope to have a regular membership through my Medicare part G when the 30 days is over.
My experience is great because I can be open and honest and I receive honest feedback without criticism
I was connected to a therapist within 48 hours. I was offered compassionate care that quickly addressed my mental health needs. I was taken seriously and felt prioritized. I could schedule appointments at my own pace. I would recommend Brightside to anyone who is struggling and is unsure whether they can get quick, adequate care at a traditional doctor's office.
You guys were a lifeline. Thank you so much for what you do.
My therapist is great! The app is nice to have.
Very easy to schedule an appointment when it is convenient for me. Psychiatrist was friendly and also discussed options, and did not force me to make any decisions
My prescriptions are working and my therapist is helping me through my life
The care I receive from my provider is excellent! She gets me and is always so supportive and positive. I would have given 5 stars but their billing needs to be more transparent and documented.
This is the best mental health care that I’ve ever received. So convenient and so helpful and completely comfortable in my own private space. It really was God sent.
My therapist has helped me with some of the issues I have been experiencing. The app is not always correct. I get notifications to make an appointment with a psychiatrist that I am not seeing. I do not care for the lessons on the app. That is just me
An absolute waste of time and money. They claim to be able to give you a diagnosis and prescribe medication if needed. I paid $95 to get on a call with someone who asked me a few basic questions, listened to one of my answers to tell me that I do not have what I think I have (my symptoms have gotten so bad that I was at a breaking point). And how would she know only listening to one answer? As we proceeded to talk she almost made me cry by pointing out how horrible my routines are even though I was trying to express to her that I have trouble following through on the routines I set. So she told me how horrible it is which I already know, then told me I don't have ADHD and then in the same exact breath told me that she couldn't give a diagnosis because it required numerous tests and she wasn't qualified to give a diagnosis. She then told me to find a place where I can get formal tests done for a diagnosis before promptly ending the call. I wasted my money and 20 minutes of my time for absolutely nothing. Anyways found an ACTUAL company that does what Brightside is claiming they do, and guess what? Turns out I DO have ADHD like I suspected. To top it all off when I asked for a refund, they said no due to their policy, even though I received absolutely nothing. Just horrible all around. They may be good for therapy I don't know, but they absolutely are not able to diagnose you with anything or prescribe certain types of medication(which differs from what they advertise on their site). I could have gotten a better result using BetterHealth since all they can do here is talk to you.
I dont have insurance so the fact that I could still recieve great mental health care is amazing.
She reframes my thoughts and shows me another way of looking at things
My Dr. Is very responsive and attentive to my needs. My therapist is awesome as well. Still trying to get comfortable with talking about my feelings.
Vanessa is so empathetic & responsive. She is kind, sweet and caring.
It’s a great platform that sends you a lot of reminders and the therapist I was assigned was a perfect fit and gave great advice.
I had an initial intake with this therapist. I completed some assessments for Brighteside. Brightside recommended the suicide prevention program. I was scheduled with a therapist the next day name Rebecca Edwards (same person that the complaint is about). I was scheduled for 6pm today. This was the only time that they offered me. During the appointment Rebecca was very rude to me. I politely told her that my son was sleeping and that he might wake up. She told me that for now on to schedule my appointments at a better time. I told her that this was the only time that I was offered. She told me that was not true and that is my own problem. I told her that I did not like how she was speaking to me and I wouldn't talk to a patient like that. She told me that she does not have time for my shit and hung up on me. I would like to add that was feeling suicidal at the time of the appointment and that was the reason why I was referred to see her by Brighterside. I would like to add that I didn't threaten the therapist or curse at the therapist. She didn't provide me with any warnings. She just hung up on me.
I’m very happy with my therapist and like my NP. We are working on meds and dosing, but I can tell we are on the right track. The app is good, but could use a couple of tweaks. The main thing, on the patient side, is not being able to schedule more than 2 weeks out. Also, it isn’t as intuitive to navigate as I would have hoped. If feels like there are things filed away in areas that I don’t know to look in (or features I don’t know exist), overall, the therapy and NP care are most important to me, and I am happy with those.
Brightside has served as a great refresher for my previous experience with direct therapy and CBT training. My provider is super intuitive and extremely insightful. I appreciate all of the help I'm receiving.
