Applying for a new service
Applying for a new service, i was told the window of time was 1pm to 6pm, the meter needed to be accessible and someone MUST be at the residence for the worker to access the residence. Followed exact instructions. NO ONE made contact at the home, unaware if they accessed meter, NO NOTIFICATION Job was closed (through email, online account or phone). WASTED 5 plus hours (1/2 hour grace either side of appointment window). Next day made an inquiry as to what was happening, advised that the power had been turned on. I scheduled 5 hours to sit in any empty residence, waiting for no reason. Alinta did not care about my time. This could have been a smooth process if we were notified once the service had been connected.
