Staff excellent,tour driver Paul excellent,hotel room satisfactory, hotel reasonable considering age, tours could be better organised crammed in to much for one day not enough time to enjoy any tour,

Just returned from our first holiday with Alfa travel the 6th coach company we have tried. We are staycationers now unfortunately so are eager to explore our own country and revisit some of the places we took our children many years before we travelled abroad. We travelled to Newcastle through the Burtonwood interchange and were very impressed with the organisation. A little wait on our outward journey and very short wait on our return journey. We thought our driver Paul was excellent. Despite it being his first time in Newcastle and the area, he got us to everywhere we were supposed to be and extra..... He was courteous and had a warm sense of humour we appreciated. The only down side to this holiday was the food at the hotel. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. We don't have very high expectations for coach hotels to be honest and usually go to a certain hotel group so we know what we are getting but only one hotel in our experience has been worse than this one. The Leonardo hotel Newcastle let down an otherwise excellent break. We will definitely travel with Alfa again and possibly try a leisureplex hotel, we asked lots of people we met about them. If we could book a trip with Paul as driver again we gladly would.

Well organised, comfortable coach, nice hotel and good trips

Fantastic food, staff good ,nothing was too much trouble. Coach driver was really good. Hotel decor could do with updating.

The holiday itself was wonderful the hotel and staff great the only draw back was the time it took to get there and back 9hours going 10 hours home Weymouth is only 3 hours away from Northampton by car overall didn't enjoy the travelling can't fault the holiday if I use you again is there a way I can just go to the changeover pick-up without having To go round the houses

the trips were good. aspect from the hotel was wonderful as was my room. no elecric shaver point in bathroom, despite it looking as if its new; the coach seats were most uncomfortable. information about the trip places was very poor. just the time were had.

Hotel and staff were wonderful. Coach was comfortable. The downside was that the feeder was an hour late and the main driver was not sure if some destinations. Better communication is needed.

Comfortable coach, good driver (who was very well informed about the journey and out on the day trips), a good hotel, and meeting people.

Had a really lovely holiday. The driver was good, nice hotel and food. Enjoyed the outings. Couldn't ask for better service or more friendly and helpful staff. Hotel room was spotless as were the public areas. Food was lovely and plenty of choice. Will definitely travel with Alfa again.

A brilliant driver Pete really made the holiday for us. Hotel had friendly staff and on reception most helpful. Clean room with nice view. Trips were good too.

Journey was good. Driver was excellent. Hotel room was very comfortable, food good as usual and good choices. The hotel manager was very helpful and always polite. On the whole a very good holiday.

Well organised from start to finish relaxing driver Michael excellent hotel Metropole Torquay staff very efficient and polite rooms very clean lovely fluffy towels bus stop outside the hotel to get around trips well planned

Driver great hotel great severs eager to serve main whilst still eating starter. Beer garden could do with more comfortable seating and maybe a ramp rather than stairs as some couldn't manage stairs. Lunch would have been lucrative I think many went over yo another hotel. Packed lunch for journey home was a waste of time many were wrong and missing items

Staff in the hotel would not help me I was told the rooms had been allocated and it was the only room they had it was up 3 flights of stairs i have C O P D i struggle breathing

Everything sorted for you

Very nice hotel comfortable and spotlessly clean but not being able to walk far no where in the vicinity to walk to also it would be nice if you could get sandwiches from the bar at lunch time when you decide to stay in the hotel

Stunning scenery. Hotel staff good. The only reason 5 stars not given is due to incondiiderate feeder coach drop off on return. Email sent.

Good coach, easy pick up.. (did not use feeder which can be bad, last time luggage was at Bowburn waiting for feeder pick up and was soaked through, suggested awning and grating off ground and last time with Alpha was not Alpha coach or driver) this driver good ( possibly talked too much but very informative). Holiday Inn really good, food, room, staff. 3 trips very good and traffic problems could be expected in London area
