Yuno kept charging even after switching and bills were generated and still not able to resolve that issue and they debit money in advance and hard to get back the money

I had awful trouble getting my welcome credit added into my account. The issue had been ongoing for months and I was getting extremely frustrated by the lack of resolution. I give 5 stars as Emmanuella in the customer services team went above and beyond to finally get this sorted for me. I would not recommend Yuno from the experience I have had so far, but Emmanuella is a credit to their team and I hope very much she is treated as such. Excellent service from her.

Nothing short of a dreadful company to deal with, who will take all your money and leave you swindled in the mud. I used Yuno from October 2023- August 2024. Our new-build, A+ rated apartment cost over €2,000 in not even a full calendar year. By contrast my previous provider was less than €1,000 over 12 months - Government credits aside. They have a business model of "predicted" usage rates which enables them to inflate your monthly bill unless you submit a meter reading once a month. I was diligently submitting readings, until one month I forgot, and BOOM! My bill went from €60 to €300 with no effort to offer credit despite multiple phone calls. When cancelling my contract, the Customer Service manager agreed with me over the phone that I was due a credit of 298kw/h equating to approx. €100- this would be applied as credit to my final bill. The final bill has just arrived with no credit, just more hidden charges. These guys really are cowboys of the highest order. Avoid them! I'll be telling all friends and family to steer clear.
Today 23rd. August 2024, I was very much satisfied with customer service team due to positive response and cooperation in response to my request.
I had a query and spoke with Ajay, and he helped resolve the query. 5 stars to him. 4 stars to Yuno energy as when switching to Yuno energy I selected Day-night plan... but yuno energy changed that to 24H plan without informing me, and Ajay told me that's because my meter config is not updated. I would really appreciate to let me know if you change plan by yourself.
I recently switched to Yuno energy from Electric Ireland, thinking my bills would be alot cheaper, in fact I find no real difference atall, my bill says I owe €165 but they actually take €193 from my account, I find it so hard to understand their billing, at least with Electric Ireland what was on the bill was what I paid for, when my contract ends I'll be going back, Neil
