Awful customer service, they started to take money from me on a day in the month that definitely didn’t suit me, refused to change the date. Took no responsibility for the mix up in dates, blamed me and the told me they will charge me €100 if I go to another provider. Avoid this bunch at all costs !
Yuno kept charging even after switching and bills were generated and still not able to resolve that issue and they debit money in advance and hard to get back the money

Hi , I joined Yuno on the 3rd of January. I have to say they are not doing anything wrong in a legal sense , but my god the way their system of billing works is virtually impossible to follow. I got my head around it after two phone calls to customer service today ( whom I have to say are very polite and helpful ) , but the fact that I have enough intelligence to understand how the system works in a literal sense , doesn’t mean it makes any sense from an ongoing customer satisfaction point of view, I’m going to be driven to distraction every month trying to figure out the actual bill versus the previous advance payment , and then try to figure out the next months advance payment which is based on the 28 days usage previous to the issue date of your most recent bill , so if your checking half way through the month on your smart meter you can’t confirm their figures because you can only go back 4 weeks from the day your checking the information , where they go back 28 days from the date of your previous bill issue date . I’ve no idea how anyone could have done business with this company before the smart meters were installed , you wouldn’t have the foggiest idea what’s going on . Further more my bill is issued up to the 9th of march and the figure is taken out of my account on the 10th , after one day , so if you have any issue you can’t stop the payment , so if you actually have an issue they now have a month payment ahead and the payment for the month that you have the issue with , before you even get a chance to question them , and remember the figure that they’ve just taken allows for the prediction for the month ahead , so basically if you have an issue you’d need an accountant to establish where you stand , and they have a full month payment ahead before you go with your begging bowel to sort out your issue . I was 25 years in business with electric bills of over 1000 euro per week , I’ve never seen anything like it . Stay well away , I’m contracted until 3rd of January next year and I’m counting down the days already . And to Yuno , My account number is 864537 in case you want to contact me or you think this is some kind of scam review . Your companies billing system is ridiculous, and actually shouldn’t be allowed , god help any old person that signs up for this nonsense, just because it’s not illegal doesn’t make it ok !

They are fraud Stay away everyone I was with them for 2 months, they kept charging my account and keep sending me bills and after 2 months I felt something is not right and upon checking with ESB I was told I never was with Yuno Energy and was still using electricity from previous provider. When checked with Yuno energy, they were clueless about the whole thing. In a nutshell I am the one who is going to pay out of contract rates to previous provider and these people said ohh sorry we will return your money in 21 days Absolutely pathetic customer service I have all the record if someone needs further info Stay away please

Although we are separate companies, we both offer you a range of flexible and transparent payment options, along with complete visibility and control over your electricity usage through our all-in-one app. I am sorry you feel that your bills are higher since switching to us, I would be very interested in reviewing your account in full so we can determine what may be causing this. Update: no call back. No communication. I shall have to take matters further. I am done dealing with this company. Taking money without cause or permission. No refunds. No communication.i shall be taking my complaints further. They tell you what you want to hear and then do nothing. UPDATE 2; They took another month even though we had left them. Could not get to speak to anyone in authority. Our new prividers were SHOCKED. I had to cancel.my debit card to stop them taking more money. They owe us over 600 euro now. UPDATE: Yuno have admitted responsibility for overcharging us. They waived our 100e exit fee - we left without their 30 day notice. They will refund excess when final figures come through. They will provide a breakdown of these figures. So ill revise my rating to two point five stars (three on this) and more if im happy with the final breakdown. Here is my experience with Yuno energy. We joined in Dec. We got an enormous bill. We decided to wait for the next one to arrive to see if it would be any better. It was highter. We rang their customer service, Sharon said there appeared to be something amiss with the billing. She was sending it to a supervisor who would be in contact. A month later - nothing. Another month comes and guess what? A huge bill telling us that last months payment wasnt paid - when it was. At that stage i had enough. I called Conor - he said the bill was wrong. He told us we would get a refund (over 400 euro) I read that Yuno energy may take up two months to refund. With money pouring from our account, we dont have the luxury of a two month wait. We were also told that the app is under going a 'fix'to stop paid bills being marked unpaid. And we were told that despite submitting meter readings, they have their own way of calculating things. I sent an follow up mail today to Conor and to the complaints department detailing our bill as it should stand now. Waiting to hear back. And also waiting for our refund. Based on three months of stress - which is something no one needs - i regret our move to Yuno. We have never had problems with any other supplier. Do not join sign up with this company.
