Wessex Internet is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

Thank you to Jamie and Brandon, for doing such a good job with the garden stage of our install. They were really friendly and accomodating. You can tell they want to do the best job for the customer.
Very quick and efficient installation of the wires in the garden. team 4 were polite and helpful. Will be glad when it’s all up and running! Many thanks
Team 3, cheerful despite it being the last job on a humid day! All completed and tidy. Thanks Wessex 😀

We live in a rural area. Currently our signal comes from 12 miles away. We have a neurodivergent child and she has slept in our bed for 4 years, as she has seizures through the night. Our WiFi signal is too poor for us to be able to monitor her from another room. Katie Gondelle phoning on Thursday to chase an old order is literally life-changing for us. She went above and beyond to meet our need. The cable was prepared by the time I got home the next day and installation is on Friday (my birthday). Thank you also to Jordan Sharp for his support. Very friendly and helpful. Only gripe was that there seems to be a disconnect between the community team who visited the villagez as I get the sense that this could have been done sooner. I have emailed them fortnightly but not got many responses back as it was my belief that Incouldn't get fibre until they'd dug up our road.
Sadly This is my 2nd post about this.no progress and no communication.. Well this lot are full of verbal promises but still no fibre, no idea when or indeed if its going to happen, their communication is appalling. Now I am left paying well over the odds to bt for a useless copper connection as I am out of contract. What do I do? They do not reply to emails. Do I need to visit in person? From being understanding and patient to now being cross and actually very fed up.. tbh right now I just want to know who can get me fibre to my door, how long it's going to take? Update.. Yet again we had to call to get an update. Still with installation team.. told to go with someone else.. wow! So 4 months worth of out of contract payments to my current provider for nothing.. that's over 100 quid extra. I doubt I will choose to go with Wessex as this experience has been appalling.
Wessex have bridged the gap for us to take our connection from terrible l to terrific! Bill was able to offer some brilliant customer service and help us through the process. The offered speeds and connection are 15x faster than what offer companies were able to quote.
My Internet dropped out on Good Friday. I contacted Wessex by telephone and an automated message said they would be on holiday until after the Easter holiday. I was so surprised when Katherine rang me that afternoon to guide me through the procedure to get back online. She was so patient and professional. It's good to know that help is available even on Bank Holiday.
Roadworks commenced Manchester Road and I chatted to 3 of your workers about my disabled wife and her condition CRPS constant pain in her right leg, it gets higher pain levals from vibrations and bedridden for days which pevents her from walking. They were concerned and agreed to knock on our door to warn us when work was commencing. This they did each day as promised. The work they have been doing has been organised well, very tidy and considerate to our neighbours. These 3 people have worked so hard with no breaks that I saw. Well done guys!!
We have recently had wessex internet installed and can honestly say their service was reasonably efficient just a couple of small issues early on. Since agreement the notifications and planning of groundworks and installation were very good, the lads who did the groundworks were excellent resulting in and clean and tidy job. The commissioning was carried out the following day was also to the same high standard so overall well pleased with the works. We are now up and running with the internet being faster as was the reason for having it in the first place, instead of the old outdated copper installation. The review would have been 5 star if not for one issue, our hub is located pretty centrally in the house but unfortunately we had a weak signal in our bedroom, when notifing Wessex they were not over helpful and wanted to charge £4.50 a month for an extender. We have now purchased our own TP link extender for £40 and all is now working fine.
Had dealings with Abraam Hatjiosef at Wessex Internet and what brilliant service is has been.He not only kept his promises but also sent me contact updates as to when our broadband will be installed.Installing was easy with the engineer arriving early which was brilliant. Our broadband is now so much faster and can also be reached with us sitting in the rear garden.Thanyou Wessex Internet for a very professional service as it is muchly appreciated .👏👏👏
Wessex Internet supposed to be talking to residents at our village Parish Council meeting tonight. They weren’t there. Lots of villagers turned up specially and had to go home again. Nothing on either Wessex Internet or PC website about cancellation. PC staff said Wessex Internet decided to go to a different New Forest village this evening. I note that most poor reviews of Wessex Internet relate to unreliability and broken promises. This doesn’t seem to bode well. Update: Wessex Internet replied promptly to this review to say they would be at the next PC meeting, in April, instead. No info about how they’re going to let residents know about the new date. The village magazine that publicised the original date doesn’t come out again until May. I’m disappointed that Wessex Internet chose to go to the other village when they’d already made a commitment here.
