Don't risk your car here

Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm. My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle! I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!

Useless don’t bother

Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash. The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with. They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless. Will wash it myself over the weekend.

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Overcharging

Waves. Tesco Colchester. Left my car for a £25 gold valet. They tried to charge me £30. I refused. Will go elsewhere in the future. Local face book group have been complaining about overcharging here but this is the first time it has happened to me

THE CUSTOMER IS WRONG AND DAMAGE IS NOT THEIR FAULT!

Avoid this place! I am not the first to say that if you look at the reviews showing consistent damage occurring. THEIR STANCE IS THE CUSTOMER IS WRONG!! I took my car to get the platinum service and was shocked when I was driving down the road only to find out that my radio knob is broken off. I immediately turned back around to report it to the company. Once I arrived I then see a long rubber piece laying in the back seat. Apparently this had fallen from the sunroof area during the cleaning. The manager or “boss” as he said came to me and told me that the rubber piece was already there and that there was no way that they had broken the radio knob. “Must have been done before you come here because we couldn’t have done it” After a long back and forth he just told me that this is a 5 pound piece and that he didn’t have any responsibility for it. I know for a fact that I used the radio knob without any issues before taking my car there and that there was no rubber piece pulled off my sunroof and laying my back seat. The solution? NOTHING! They gave me a number to someone named Sami who said I would have to go back there and speak ti the same person and take the time to watch that guy show me their cleaning procedures. I don’t appreciate them trying to make me feel as though I am driving around looking to get something out of a company. As if me spending all that time for a knob was my agenda for the day. This is RIDICULOUS! I will find all avenues to report this issue that so many have faced but as the customer you lose! They would rather lose a loyal customer who pays 100s of pounds a year to prove that they can do no wrong. Sad business strategy.

MIS SOLD! HEAD OFFICE IS USELESS!

Asked for a price on a vacuum and wash. The manager had stated the price. Paid upfront. Returned 30 minutes to find that the car was not clean properly and that the vacuum was not done. Manager was argumentative. Emailed head office. Useless !!!

Tesco Guildford Surrey

Tesco Guildford Surrey The new management team at Tesco Guildford are absolutely amazing. The quality of work was superb and has restored my faith in Waves. I will now be a loyal customer and return to this branch and having suffered very poor service during 2022-2023. Thank you so much to the three members of staff that did a fantastic job this evening, were extremely polite and professional. I would highly recommend this car wash.

Poor service

Operative at waves tesco car park looked my vehicle over and said £100 for the platinum clean..i wish this site had the ability to upload pictures so awfully lacking..so when i went to complain the attitude was id had it for three days..i had driven it once as i have a work van to go to work and also when i picked it up it was dark so didnt notice the awful job, when i complained they wouldnt give me any compensation however they did offer to do a bit more but being accused of calling them my slaves i declined ..i wouldnt let them clean my wheelbarrow

Very poor standards

Used Waves at Abbeydale, Sheffield. Medium car, cost £30. Mud left on bumper. Boot not vacuumed. Door reveres not washed. Waited 1.5 hours. Very expensive for a poor job

Tesco waves Leighton Buzzard

Was going to tescos for a shop so thought I'd book my car in for a wash category 3 £12 perfect for the bronze no spaces avalible. Got to the store and asked if they had any space as they were empty yes they said. But the car is category 4 apparently I argued and said you know I tried booking online and it was a 3 so they agreed but told me it would still be £15 due to the car being really dirty. Fine fair enough within half an hour it was all nice and shiny thank you. No faults except the price change
