Don't risk your car here

Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm. My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle! I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!

Useless don’t bother

Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash. The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with. They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless. Will wash it myself over the weekend.

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Fantastic car wash.

I have never had a car cleaned so thoroughly. It is eleven years old and came back sparkling. This was at Sainsbury’s St Clare’s Hanworth. The young men working on it were skilled, polite and cheerful.

They have stolen £80 from me

Booked an £80 valet on their app. I was relying on this booking as I was selling the car later that day. On arrival, they said they wouldn't be able to do the valet as the app and the actual wash people don't syc with each other. After much persuasion, they agreed to do a quick job to make it presentable for which they charged £30. This was OK but then they also took the £80 for the valet I never had. I have tried contacting them without any luck whatsoever. Truly appalling.

Waves Carwash Tesco Blackpool

My OAP Mother took her car to be washed while she did her shopping, she has used this car wash many times before but it has been taken over by new owners. They would only accept payment up front in cash. When she returned the car wouldn’t start. We had to call a garage out to jump start it and as soon as they did the full beams and all lights came on. The garage said that they must have turned all the lights on when cleaning the interior and it drained the battery. The manager (who was led down in the back of his car) refused to refund the £30 cash as they cleaned the car. Not much use if you can’t drive it away! Appalling service. Avoid.

Not impressed at all

My grandmoms car had a busted gallon of milk all Over the drivers side. She got the $22 wash and wax. I took the car through for her while she waited by the vacuums. Came out and still had many spots of milk dried on the car. Then went to vacuum and the vacuums are a huge disappointment, wasn’t picking anything up, just pushed it around. The mat cleaning machine was the only good thing about the car wash. Won’t be going back again.

Waves Hand Car Wash Eastbourne not…

Waves Hand Car Wash Eastbourne not worth the money. I have received the car with some sort of oily marks on both front doors, wheels not washed properly and found it difficult to communicate with some of the staff, possible due to barrier language, because I won't want to believe that that particular staff member just pretended to be silly by giving answers unrelated to my questions. Too much money for not much in exchange. They have failed in making me a loyal, happy customer I'm afraid.

It appears Waves do this scam…

It appears Waves do this scam regularly. Dropped car off, was told it would be £50 for platinum, thought this rather expensive so asked for Gold which was told was £32. Still thought rather expensive, but thought it was convenient for whilst I was shopping. But then I saw I was being charger for having a large car, my cars a vauxhall tigra! I pointed this out and various excuses cam out, first about how dirty my car was, then how the sign was correct, then to an absolute lie that I had asked for special car wax to be added. This was as Hemel - but looks like it's a brand wide scam. Reporting to Tesco and trading standards. I have a great video of the waves operator trying to explain the pricing scale (including that the 'ticks' don't actually mean that they are added, but means they can be added for an extra charge! Lol

Tesco should be ashamed to have these…

Tesco in Amersham should be ashamed to have these scam artists on their site. They are completely shameless rip-off merchants. They have ripped off my wife and charged the £50 for a small car to wash that inside and out. Something that shouldn’t be more than £20-25 anywhere else. Not only that they also tried to extort the extra £15 to clean the carpets inside the car. This is not acceptable, and disgraceful. They’ve exploited her good nature and made her feel that she couldn’t leave or go anywhere else. I’m expecting a partial refund or I will be forced to share my experience with everybody I know in Buckinghamshire.
