Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!
Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.
GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.
I regularly use Waves and the service is excellent.
Friendly, efficient, love the text when ready. They even take my Tesco trolley back !
I joined their car wash club , its good value and i can go as many times as i want too.
Very average car wash. Told would take 45 minutes & took 1 & half hours as cleaning other cars turning whilst waiting. Want cash only. The customer services just tells you to go back to who washer your car & complain. Current number is past employee ! Gold for 27 quid is not worth the money.
4 pints of milk!!!! That's what they had to deal with, all over the back seat and the floor!! We'd soaked the excess up with baking powder so the car was a mess....they've saved us from having a really bad smell in the car!!! Few bits of powder around now its fully dry but nothing we can't brush off - it was excessive!! Was costly too....but necessary.
I regularly use Waves Car Wash at Tesco Seacroft Leeds. I am very impressed by the friendly staff and the level of service they provide. There is always a warm/friendly welcome when I arrive, the chemicals used are by Auto Glym and are of good quality. I usually choose the Platinum level of service which is comprehensive with the attention to detail just short of a full valet. It takes an hour to an hour and a quarter to fully clean my Vauxhall Insignia Sport Tourer which spends a lot of time on the trunk roads and motorways of our fair country. Slightly less for my wife's Ford Fiesta pocket rocket as it is garaged and only does local journeys. I am impressed by the attention to detail that the staff at my Waves give to the cleaning they go the extra mile and my car always smells fresh and looks amazing.
Tescos Extra Hastings. £27 option..not cheap! When I returned 1 1/2 hours later, they'd ignored boot, inside doors, central console and there were still marks on windscreen. I had to ask them to sort it. Not what you'd expect at that cost. A couple of youngsters running it. Won't use it again.
Waves car wash Tesco Wigan saw them open tail gate on BMW AND JET WAS IT AND THEN DID SAME WITH DOORS.
THIS IS A BIG NO NO as it can short out electrics.
Also cleaning a car does not take a genius yet this company hires people that cant even get this right.
Very good car wash at Tesco's in Churchwood Drive. Staff extremely friendly. So pleased with my nice clean car. Like the facility to book online so car gets washed while I do my shopping. Grateful thanks to all involved in washing my car.

To be fair they have always done an excellent job and are usually nice people to talk to, I just can't stand the scammimg.
You ask them how much 'bronze plus' wash will be, they tell you it will be £17 because the car is a 'Size 2'. You agree, leave the car with them, do some shopping and come back to be told it's £20 because, presumably my car expanded to a 'Size 3' when it got wet.
And it's not just me, I'm the third in my family that has been 'done' like this and we have one by one stopped using them.
So what did Waves achieve. Well I used them on a regular basis, they scammed me out of £3 because they probably knew that I wasn't going to make a scene in the car park. They are probably laughing thinking they have fleeced me for an extra £3. Well I guess they did, but I won't be going back there again.
Business 101 - what is better, be honest with your customer and retain their regular custom or make a one-off £3 at the expense of future custom.
Make the most of it, don't spend it all at once, and best of luck with your suicidal business model.
