Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!
Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.
GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.
Waves at tesco rydon lane is a rip off! Told me £40 for a wash and polish. Took them 20 mins! Charged me £51.00. Other women have complained that they have been ripped off because they felt it was because theyre female and i got that impression too. Water Lane in Exeter i would highly recommend at £21.00 too.
I decided to get my car washed whilst I did some shopping. The was itself was very good, no complaints but, on returning home I noticed the car badge was missing from the front of the car and the back windscreen had been pushed inwards, leaving a gap. So not recommend and will not be returning here.
Used Waves @ Tesco Northampton -fantastic!!! My car looks like new! I had a ‘full monty’ valet service, as the seats were badly stained and there were crumbs from kids snacks everywhere. I hoped this service would get the car looking pretty new, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Staff were also so friendly & really went the extra mile. First time customer but will definitely go again!
Had my four by four done at Tesco Newmarket good job done when I gave the guy my Tesco club card he said he did not know what to do as his manager was not in I have been back today and they cannot do anything about my club card points owed to me.
I was always satisfied with the service at Waves at Tesco in Didcot. But it is now under new management and I will not be using it again. According to local social media, it seems that other people have had similar experiences to mine.
I parked by the car wash and stayed in the car while I detached the car key from the ring of other keys. The man came out of his booth and approached me. That's not normal, they're usually too busy for that, and it was then I noticed that there were no cars being washed. I thought he was going to tell me it was out of order or something like that. But no.
He circled round the car and told me that it was too dirty! Wanted to charge me an extra £5! Obviously I refused. I said, no wonder you've got no customers. Why would I bring a clean car to be washed? He started arguing that it would take more time, shampoo, water etc. This was nonsense as the car only had surface dirt, it wasn't caked with mud.
A second man appeared (there seemed to be no other staff) and, indicating other cars, said "Do you see any other cars here as dirty as yours?" Outrageous. These were shoppers' cars, not car wash customers.
There seemed no point in staying any longer and I went to the hand car wash on the Broadway where I received competent and courteous service at a reasonable price. I certainly won't be returning to Waves Didcot under the current management.
First time coming to Laindon one. I was very impressed Mustafa and the guys there went above and beyond to help me with any little requests I asked for along with great cleaning of my car for the price. I will definitely be back.
Appalling customer service. The guys working at the wash in Moatfield Meadow Ashford can barely speak a word of English and therefore just grunt at customers and expect them to know what to do.
Note for management - teach your staff enough English for them to be polite and give clear instructions to paying customers

Gosport Alver Valley Tesco colleague here. Waves give us a decent dicount for a full wash. After the first clean I noticed some marks still on car. Owner then proceeded to take my car, and cleaned them off for no extra charge. I think it depends on who is running that particular unit in Tescos. But the one where I work has been first class.
Haverhill Suffolk PAID A WAPPING £38 ( sign says £25 ) FOR SMALL CAR WITH EXTRA BUGS STILL ON HEADLIGHT AND LEATHER SEAT NOT CLEANED
After my usual car was was taken over by some other people and the prices DOUBLED in price and surprise surprise there lott went to full to empty over night !!
so i decided to give these a go went for standard wash with "extra protection" £8 extra
turned up an 1h30 m later and nearly finished car .. when i got in i found the seat mark still there so questioned manager and was told "leather seats extra " NEVER told me that THE TIME !!!
had a look around and still bugs splatter on headlight dirty marks and spider nest inside boot jam .....
WHAT A RIP OFF WHISH I HAD READ THIS BEFOR !!!
