Poor Experience with Travel Trolley

I booked international flights through Travel Trolley for myself and my young children, spending over £2,000 — and I deeply regret using this agency. The booking process seemed fine at first, but once I tried to check in, everything started falling apart. Turkish Airlines couldn't recognise my children's names, wouldn't allow them to check in online, and assigned us separate seats, and prompted with having to pay more if we want to sit together — including my 3-year-old, which is completely unacceptable. I contacted Travel Trolley for help and was told to try checking in each person individually, which made no difference, as the passengers where not recognised. They offered zero real support and took no responsibility, despite being the agent that issued the tickets. Their systems clearly don’t pass complete or correct passenger data to the airline, and families are left to deal with the fallout. For the price I paid, I expected a seamless experience — instead, I got stress, confusion Do yourself a favour and book directly with the airline. Travel Trolley is initially cheap for a reason, and you’ll pay for it later — in frustration, wasted time, and poor service.

The biggest scammer ever !!

The biggest scammer ever !!! Cancelled my flight at the very last minutes !! But took my money earlier !!! Refund only after 72 hours later !! I wish I can give 0 star !! I would not recommend !!! The reason was no seat availability ! But why taking the money but yet they knew there is no seat available !!

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about my deeply frustrating experience with Travel Trolley. I would leave 0 stars if it were an option. We are due to fly to New York in November, but unfortunately, one of our party is no longer able to travel due to personal reasons. What followed was an exhausting and unacceptable experience involving eight separate phone calls between British Airways and Travel Trolley, during which I was constantly bounced back and forth. British Airways made it clear that, as I had booked through a third party, they were unable to make any changes directly — but they confirmed that if Travel Trolley contacted them through the trade line, they would be able to discuss options, including a potential refund. However, every Travel Trolley advisor I spoke to flatly refused to use this option, hiding behind vague “policy” and offering no flexibility or effort to help. When I asked for my calls to be escalated, I was refused again, and instead given an email address for complaints. The reply I received (at 9:30pm, no less) was riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes, entirely unprofessional in tone, and still refused to assist me — showing no understanding of the issue. They offered a £95 tax refund on a ticket that cost over £400, and completely ignored my request for a quote to change the name on the ticket instead. Please also bear in mind that this refund will take over 4 weeks to be processed! Days later, I received another message, again late in the evening, bluntly stating they were unable to assist with a name change. No explanation, no empathy, no customer care. While I understand that policies exist, the outright rudeness, obstructiveness, and complete lack of willingness to help has been appalling. To make matters worse, we have already had our flights cancelled and rebooked, and the way Travel Trolley has handled everything leaves me with zero confidence that our trip will even go ahead smoothly! I will never book with Travel Trolley again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them at all costs. If anything goes wrong with your booking, don’t expect support, empathy, or even basic professionalism.

Avoid at all costs. Worst travel experience I’ve ever had. I booked a family trip (myself, my wife, and three kids) through Travel Trolley 5 months in advance. Everything was confirmed, including flights from Manchester to Cairo via Amman. A week before travel, I logged into the airline’s site only to discover that the entire itinerary had been changed — the departure city was switched from Manchester to London without warning, and the layover extended to 23 hours instead of 1. Not a single email, phone call, or message from Travel Trolley informing me of this major change. If I hadn’t checked myself, I would’ve turned up at the wrong airport with three children and missed everything. When I called their customer service, they simply said, “Yes, the airline changed it — we’ll call you tomorrow.” No urgency, no apology, no accountability. Worse still, I had already booked train tickets to Manchester and made all my plans around the original itinerary. They offered no solution, no support, and made it clear I was on my own. This is not just incompetence — it’s irresponsible, borderline negligent behaviour. Travel Trolley will gladly take your money, but if anything goes wrong, you’re invisible to them. I will never book with them again. If you care about your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from this company

Travel trolley are the absolute worst

Travel trolley are the absolute worst. On my way out we received notification to say they’d changed our flights and instead of a 3 hour transfer time it was 8. It took many calls over several hours to resolve. I am now in Thailand. They have changed the return schedule again and left less than 1.5 hours transfer time which is not enough in the airport I’m flying through. I have made several calls and sent two emails. They keep promising call backs and never do. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM - it isn’t worth it. @Travel Trolley I’ve entered my booking ref with this review if you even bother looking at it. I’ll provide a public review here and in many other places - let’s see if you can respond to these and I can provide an update. I’m not hopeful but let’s see! Update - whilst they can’t control flight time changes - they do have to rebook for you which causes even more issues. On both my outbound and inbound flights they were useless and I spent so long on the phone going back and forth through different teams, promised many callbacks and never received them. Definitely don’t book through Travel Trolley - go to the airlines directly instead and avoid the hell they put me through

Terrible place to book a ticket

Terrible place to book a ticket, very unprofessional customer care team and not knowing the rules of uk travel industry, it is based in India and they don’t care about customers, you paid for the ticket and once we have the money then you chasing us for everything else , to reschedule your cancelled flight by airline, no chance they don’t care, shame on airlines to allow this cheating website selling their tickets , furious .

IMAGINE I CANCELLED A TICKET AND THE AIRLINE SAID IM ENTITLED TO A REFUND AND THEY ARE USING THE SAME AIRLINES NAME TO CHARGE ME £260 FOR CANCELLING A TICKET.GOT UNITED AIRLINES AND TRAVEL TROLLEY ON A 3 WAY AND THEY GOT CAUGHT LYING USING THE AIRLINES NAME TO CHARGE A CANCELLATION FEE. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I AM REPORTING THEM TO TRADING STANDARDS CURRENTLY FOR PREYING ON THEIR CUSTOMERS. AVOID NO MATTER THE DEAL. YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER. ALL THEIR POSITIVE REVIEWS MUST BE FAKE.

No Compensation

I have booked a flight through travel trolly and after 80+ hours they mailed me they couldn't get tickets from the airlines bu when I visited their website the ticket was still available for around £100 more. They didn't offer me a new ticket and I had to take the ticket directly from the airlines website as I couldn't trust any 3rd party apps. And in this mean time the ticket was up by £200 and I asked for a compensation and the people from customer service are convinced that the refund and the other departments are sitting on another place, they can't forward the call or ask them to prioritize the problem. I was waiting for the call back arrangement for days now and still haven't got any response from the person handling my case. I never had such bad experience before and I will never choose travel trolly ever again. Edit: if you were unable to take the tickets from airlines then you should have let me know within 24 hours not after 80hours and 10 calls from me. After 24 hours you should have give me an option to take the same tickets with the airlines price and give me a chance to choose the initial amount refund or the ticket with the current price.
