Travelocity used to be a good option but now, like a lot of users, the date function is a disaster. I’ve stopped using for good.
Travelocity used to be a good option, now
Travelocity has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.

The online system has several bugs. I kept trying to book for a specific data and it would generate ticket options for different dates. It eventually booked a different date and created a disaster. Same thing happened when I combined with a hotel. A terrible experience.
I booked this through Travelocity. It was booked & I had reservation confirmation in my email. The next morning as I was leaving I saw an email from Travelocity informing me Phoenix couldn't accommodate me due to an "inventory" problem. Travelocity told me the best they could do was a double queen 1room hotel without an ocean view. But I had reservations for a one bedroom condo with bunk beds for the kids, kitchen, & living area. So I checked in & paid for the hotel they had found. For the same price. After I unpacked in the Hotel room... I saw I had a message from Phoenix saying they had another condo for me. And a better one! After I already paid the hotel... Needless to say Travelocity seems to have gone down hill. Travelocity promised me something they couldn't fulfill. Apparently Travelocity & Phoenix don't communicate properly. Travelocity promised me something they couldn't fulfill. I had emails saying I had a condo/apartment BOOKED AND RESERVED. They said it was Phoenix 's fault. Phoenix said it was Travelocity's fault. Someone is lying. & I was scrambling at the last minute trying to figure out on the phone with Travelocity at the last minute to make sure I had a place to stay. I demanded a discount I am supposed to get $250 off the next time I book with Travelocity. But will it be fulfilled? Can I trust them? Better than nothing... I guess 😓? But it's really not good enough. I am still angry & sad. You guys screwed up my vacation. This is so bad.
I will never use Travelocity again for airline reservations. I had multiple problems with the airlines changing flights; which was not Travelocity's problem, but Travelocity was unable to help me find alternate travel arrangements. All they could do was cancel my reservation and left me on my own to find flights. Their customer service must be one of the worst. I heard the same story numerous times that someone would call me back and help with the problem. No one ever called back.
Been using for years, no problems until recently booking. Booked round trip and they booked airline as one way. Called and they couldn’t find my booking. Airline said it was booked by third part. DON’T USE
Scam website…Do not book tickets from here ….waste of money and waste of time
Sail Croatia May 25th-June 1st 2024 We joined Sail Croatia for a fun filled week of biking through the beautiful Croatian countryside. Our e- bikes allowed us to go places and see things that made our journey extra special. The guides had fantastic informative information. The boat Emanuel took us on the Split south return destinations and left us wishing we could stay longer . Meals on board were very tasty and our bartender always had a big smile . We met a great group of fellow riders and I look forward to Sailing with Sail Croatia again. Thanks for a wonderful week .
I am a long-time customer of Travelocity, but recently, my bad experience eclipsed this. When booking a rental car, I was unaware I was booking a BBB-rated (1) star car company. The booking web page didn't indicate this company, as if it was masked by Travelocity. I didn't know until after I got the confirmation. My experience led to the rental car company backloading expenses almost double what Travelocity charged me. NU Car Rental refuses to reimburse me for unapproved charges. Travelocity is complicit in this transaction, and if Travelocity didn't front this company, it would never be in business. Just check out the BBB website for NU Car Rentals for proof.
Crowne Plaza Melbourne Benjamin provided excellent customer service -,went for drinks and an appetizer in the tiki bar! We also enjoyed listening to the band - we will be back!
DON'T EVER BOOK A FLIGHT THROUGH TRAVELOCITY. Their customer service is horrific and their website has serious issues. I initially booked a flight to Costa Rica only to get a confirmation email for the wrong time. When I logged in to change the flight I was somehow booked on a second flight and even though I had a first class confirmation I later found out I wasn't assigned seats (even though I definitely selected them at the time of reservation). This issue wasn't discovered until months later when I logged in to check my flight status. At that time there were only two seats left in separate rows so my fiance and I aren't even sitting together on our honeymoon flight. After discovering the seat assignment issue I called Travelocity and the solution they came up with was to cancel the second reservation (for the correct time) and reschedule the first reservation (for the wrong flight time). This resulted in us being booked in economy on the outbound flight even though we paid for first class. Then we were told that if we wanted to upgrade the first leg we had to upgrade the entire round trip at a cost of $2,400. Keep in mind that we were already in first on the return flight so we were going to be charged twice for this leg. It took three different calls to get this resolved, during which we were hung up on twice. Multiple times the customer service agents said they couldn't resolve the issue and told us to contact Alaska Air but the airline couldn't modify the reservation because it was booked through a third party. After more than 5 hours, during which we spoke to multiple supervisors, we were finally able to get the initial ticket issues resolved but our seats are still not together. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are just inept but it borders on fraudulent incompetence. Do yourself a favor and only book direct with the airlines. Lesson learned.
No sé los recomiendo, no compren pasajes por está página ya que los precios le suben a mi de un boleto de 185 llegue a pagar 450 por necesidad de viajar
There should be a NO STARS option. I would advise the universe to NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRAVELOCITY (also doing business as ORBITZ and EXPEDIA) to book a flight unless you are absolutely certain not to have a problem of any kind, no matter how small or routine (cancelled flight, ticket credit). They make it next to impossible to get a human being. I have bought tickets through Travelocity in years past but things have changed. Earthquakes, an evacuation and finally a volcanic eruption caused me to change my vacation plans -- which resulted in a credit (despite insurance purchased through Travelocity). Trying to use that credit -- just booking a new roundtrip ticket (on the same airline, for a lesser priced ticket within the valid period) has cost me HOURS on the phone and, in the end, $$$ more than if I could have taken care of this through their crappy website. I'm not saying this casually: I loathe Travelocity (which is also Expedia and Orbitz) and am going to lodge a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I will absolutely NEVER do business with them again.
I accidentally choose the wrong activity and needed to cancel. First, I had to search internet for phone. Their virtual agent was a waste of time. First agent said I would get a refund. Second agent said there was no notes on that phone call. And it would take until May 21st to hear back from them.
Terrible travel company. They messed up our vacation in so many ways. I will forever feel that an injustice was done. Everything from abandoning us at an airport to refusing to comply with cancellation policies. There isn't enough space here to tell it all. Just please don't ever book with these people.
The very first service they provided was double charging our credit card, and of course everything is "online". They avoid human contact like a plague, and now I know why. I recommend that you NEVER USE them or any of their associated companies, hotels.com, Expedia, etc.
Botched my reservation in multiple ways and acted with complete incompetence when making the corrections.
Travelocity is what is called a third party seller. If you book an airline ticket, a cruise, hotel, etc., and you have a problem, you are unable to deal with the actual company they represent. My flight was changed by more than 7 hours, Travelocity wouldn't rebook me on another flight, something they're required to do or issue a refund. The airline told me that since I bought from Travelocity, they had to handle the refund request or rebooking. Travelocity did neither. AMEX stepped in when I contested the charge and it was charged back to Travelocity. According to the airline, this is par for the course with all third party sellers with the exception of brick and mortar travel agencies.
We had a week long stay booked at the Global Luxury Suites in Boston,MA thru Travelocity with insurance. We had to cancel because my Brother in Law suffered a brain hemmorage/Stroke which eventually caused his death.Travel Insurance won't pay, Global Luxury Suites won't recognize our cancellation thru Travelocity. If that wasn't enough, my husbands credit card is now being used fraudulently likely because Global Luxury suites requires a COLOR copy of your credit card when you book. We have booked with Travelocity in the past without issue but this time the ball has been dropped and we have been left hanging in very desperate and tragic situation.
Gave 1 because no 0. Beware after they get your money. Booked round trip for four seniors. Departing flight was changed by two days. We canceled fights. Would not cancel return flight and give us refund. Once you book with them the carrier will not work with you. American Express would not refund our money for the flight. We lost thousands of dollars and Travelocity did not care we booked round trip. We had to honor the return trip. Even though the departing flight was canceled? This company will keep your money and gives no help after they get your money. CONSUMER BEWARE. If flights are cheaper, there is a reason. Book with carrier.
One only because 0 not an option. Promised refund, given half. Spoke to at least 5 agents. Give a plus to 1st gentleman, after that communication barriers didn’t help. Very poor customer service. Will be my last dealing with Travelocity.
