Store Credit Card

Went to Home Goods & T J Maxx in Castle Rock, Co. Great Stores. We live in Wyoming and only have a Marshalls. Went to check out. Clerk offered us a credit card and 15% off. Didn't need the card but she was nice, the balance was $200.00 and my wife shops at Marshalls all the time, so I agreed. Well Don't Get The Card. Horrible process. Tried several times said pending, pending. All this time people are waiting to check out behind us, really humiliating. Even worse when there was no reason for it. We stopped the process and put it on our major card and left. Whoever processes cards for TJ X Cards doesn't understand customer service when people are standing in line to check out. Would have saved $30.00 but not worth the hassel. We will continue to shop their stores but the company should know that this probably happens daily

Very Poor TKMAXX

I purchased a ingersoll watch as a special birthday present but when it arrived the watch looked lovely but I couldn't change the time so I took it back to the shop thinking I could exchange it for another but was told they would refund me and I would have to reorder which I reluctantly I had to do so this left me 10 days to get refund and a replacement sent in time for a special birthday well the replacement arrived and I opened it up to a disappointing surprise of a ladies Gucci bracelet no receipt or returns included so I angrily contacted the store and it seemed they didn't care and told me to again return it but I told them it's your problem so send a courier to collect and replaced but so far nothing,I'm angry I had nothing to give at the 70th birthday party or the useless tkmaxx did give a toss even though the Gucci bracelet cost £300 and the watch £100 so I'm disgusted by how I was treated and never again will I order from the Norwich store

I order from TJ Maxx online all the time. I like it because it's really easy to find what's available in my size. If I don't like it, I can return it to my local store, don't have to ship it back. And shipping is super fast. Twice in all the years I've been ordering from them, the items that were in the packages were different than what they said they were (for example, I ordered a top, and the package said "top," but contained the matching pants). I had no problem returning them, and customer service was very helpful

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TJX Rewards Master Card

TJX Rewards Master Card coerced me to sign up for a credit card when I was checking out - they offered a discount on my large purchase. In the subsequent months they proceeded to make it impossible for me to access the account online due to a horrible verification process. They had me do a video of my face and scan my ID. It never worked. They stated multiple times that they would verify my account with a letter, it never came. I demanded the account be closed, but they were charging me $34 on a $0 balance. I wanted to know what that charge was for before I paid it. They refused to tell me anything because I couldn't pass their verification process. They had ALL of my personal information and they were more than happy to take my payment WITHOUT being able to tell me what it was for. After a few hours of trying to resolve this, I closed the account but they demanded payment on the bogus fees and interest charges.

TJX awful credit policy

It seems to me that TJX rewards bad credit behavior. I had a $8000 credit and it waw almost maxed out due to a small business startup. I recently paid off a big chunk of $6000. Instead of encouraging me to keep paying down the card, they dropped my credit limit to $1900 and hit my credit because I am almost maxed out. This type of credit decisions are wrong and it hurts their reputation. I wish I never had opened an account with them. If I close the account it will hurt my credit even more. Too bad! These financial institutions have too much control and can easily damage or destroy people's credits.

Wait time to check out ridiculously long

It’s hit or miss as we all know but the store seems to be understaffed in Johnson City. Way too many people walking around with headphones on but no one to help check out the super long line of people.

I worked here but…

I use to work here so my opinions may be different but trying to be non bias i can tell the managers at least at the saginaw michigan tj max are very on customers service. I loved this store and it’s so well organized and kept up with in every department and never had any issues with the store itself. I do believe it’s a great store to shop at!

Don't Use PayPal at TJMaxx.com

I made a purchase online at TJMaxx.com. The form of payment I used was Paypal. I opted to keep part of the purchase and to return the rest to a store for a refund of $70. After waiting in line for more than 10 minutes, I was told that because I used PayPal to make the purchase, I could ONLY be issued a Gift Card/Merchandise Credit for the $70 return. When I pushed back, they attempted to contact the Manager several times who couldn't be found. I was then informed that my only option to get a Refund back to my card was to box up the purchase (at my own expense) and mail the Return to TJMaxx. This whole process is amazingly inconvenient for me, but even worse, is that it comes across as deceitful as TJMaxx isn't upfront about not making store refunds available if PayPal is used to make an online purchase and forcing customers to accept Gift Cards, thus, ensuring them a coerced purchase. I called TJMaxx Customer Service and waited on hold for more than 15 minutes for the CS Representative to return to the call. When she returned, she informed me that I could drop off my return at FedEx and that I would be charged for the cost of the Return. However, I could then call TJ Maxx AGAIN and request a refund for the shipping. I used to LOVE shopping at TJMaxx. Now, no matter how good the deals they have, I won't shop there anymore due to their p*ss poor customer service and deceitful online return policy.

The two people at the registers were…

The two people at the registers were very mean. They were closing the store early and wanted us gone. They closed the jewelry department right in front of us. That's the store here in Abilene TX.

Finding petite clothes

Being a petite it’s very hard to find pants to fit. But several women that I asked, that are petite, said they bought their pants at TJ Maxx. I was pleasantly surprised that I found 3 pairs of pants that fit and at a great price. Thank you for always having a good selection to choose from.

Horrible online customer service.

The online experience I just had was HORRIBLE! My purchase was packaged and shipped in a plastic bag with no protective packaging material. Needless to say, it was damaged and unusable. Customer service wouldn’t make it right. Item is no longer available, I have to now find a store to try to return the trashed item and go through the whole explanation again. Even after going through their ridiculous request of multiple photos clearly showing the item crushed! Not so much as an apology for the careless packaging! Never again. I’ve shopped here for years and won’t deal with this type of treatment . UPDATE 11/18 - customer service reconsidered their position and decided it was appropriate to help me with this problem. They have now made it right and I am appreciative of their assistance.

I recently had a very uncomfortable…

I recently had a very uncomfortable experience at the Marshall's in Lawrenceburg, TN. While shopping with my husband, I noticed a known employee peeking around the corner, watching us as if we were doing something wrong. Not only that, but I felt followed throughout the store. This kind of treatment is unsettling and disappointing, especially considering that we are loyal customers with store credit cards. Is this how Marshall's treats its loyal customers? I hope management addresses this behavior, as it discourages us from wanting to shop here in the future.

I have always loved TJ Maxx stores but…

I have always loved TJ Maxx stores but try calling customer service with an issue and it is a nightmare. I have to call them about an issue with my cards and everytime I called and tried to explain I got someone who could barely speak English and I could not understand them at all. I know we have many cultures in our country and that is fine, however I think TJ just hires anyone the can to man the phones and that person has got to be able to understand the customr and the customer needs to understand them.So I believe I talked to over 5 people and all of them had such bad english and did not understand my issue so I gave up. My frustration was over a 10 after going through this. I would say just give up their credit card. I will pay mine off and shread the card.
