Store Credit Card

Went to Home Goods & T J Maxx in Castle Rock, Co. Great Stores. We live in Wyoming and only have a Marshalls. Went to check out. Clerk offered us a credit card and 15% off. Didn't need the card but she was nice, the balance was $200.00 and my wife shops at Marshalls all the time, so I agreed. Well Don't Get The Card. Horrible process. Tried several times said pending, pending. All this time people are waiting to check out behind us, really humiliating. Even worse when there was no reason for it. We stopped the process and put it on our major card and left. Whoever processes cards for TJ X Cards doesn't understand customer service when people are standing in line to check out. Would have saved $30.00 but not worth the hassel. We will continue to shop their stores but the company should know that this probably happens daily

Very Poor TKMAXX

I purchased a ingersoll watch as a special birthday present but when it arrived the watch looked lovely but I couldn't change the time so I took it back to the shop thinking I could exchange it for another but was told they would refund me and I would have to reorder which I reluctantly I had to do so this left me 10 days to get refund and a replacement sent in time for a special birthday well the replacement arrived and I opened it up to a disappointing surprise of a ladies Gucci bracelet no receipt or returns included so I angrily contacted the store and it seemed they didn't care and told me to again return it but I told them it's your problem so send a courier to collect and replaced but so far nothing,I'm angry I had nothing to give at the 70th birthday party or the useless tkmaxx did give a toss even though the Gucci bracelet cost £300 and the watch £100 so I'm disgusted by how I was treated and never again will I order from the Norwich store

I order from TJ Maxx online all the time. I like it because it's really easy to find what's available in my size. If I don't like it, I can return it to my local store, don't have to ship it back. And shipping is super fast. Twice in all the years I've been ordering from them, the items that were in the packages were different than what they said they were (for example, I ordered a top, and the package said "top," but contained the matching pants). I had no problem returning them, and customer service was very helpful

TJ Max and their other companies provide good value

I think Tj Max and their many brands are a great opportunity to buy items that one could not normally afford at more expensive stores. That are usually close out items but I've found some real treasures on their website. TJ Max does not respond to reviews on Trustpilot which likely leads to their bad review (it's hard to know when the scoring process is not transparent on Trustpilot) but if you have a problem at the the store they help you. They likely would have to raise their prices and hire more staff to respond to negative reviews here. If you have a problem consider first trying the store. I know this is easier but in order for them to offer low prices I don't think they can afford staffing to monitor all the review website. Their website has great deals and shipping at $89 plus for free and I have seen somethings there that cost 3 times the normal price at other stores for the identical item. We need stores like TJ Max Marshalls and Home Goods. Is the customer service top tier, no. It isn't Neiman Marcus or Saks 5th Ave - but guess what they sell some of their products.

Do not trust their online stores

Do not trust their online stores. They’ll say they mailed your order and give you a partial tracking number then will not send you your merchandise. They are next to impossible to get ahold of on the phone or through their chat. It will take hours of trying. I tried both Marshall’s and TJMaxx online stores hoping one would be better than the other, nope. You’ll wait 2 weeks to get your money back. Then if you send a reviewyoull get an insincere reply about how your feedback is important and they’ll send it to the right people. Save your time and money and do not trust them because you’ll never get what you ordered.

WHEN THE GEARS OF THIS MACHINE WORK WELL! This Review is in regard to the lovely store manager in Canton, GA and all of our co-workers there. Yes, I am an associate and have been for ten months! I am on Social Security and was in need of a part-time job. I could not be happier than to have been accepted to become a part of the team I work with. As a member, I have enjoyed the diverse communication of my fellow-employees which is refreshing to me. I am turning seventy five in four days, and I must say just how richly blessed I am working here. In other places I have worked, can not compare to the peace and tranquil experience I find. Contentment with equal respect is what we do one to another. I will often hear Ms Keesha's endearing laughter while working. It is a tell-tale sign of her incredible communication with all who enter our store and work for her. It is obvious to me that our customers know her and ask for her. Due to our store manager, our management staff works well together. And now for the co-workers I have not mentioned until now...to give "Kudos' for everyone. They greet me when coming to work and such a blessing to feel, genuinely wanted and respected. The greeting - what force that is! We laugh, empathize and enjoy each other's company. We work hard while in a great multitude of diversive kin-ship. Well, is that not what makes our TJX go round? It is here that I belong - where I love to go to work - and where I am not afraid to share! This is home to me - where Nana feels that her space is special! Thank you all for that awesome feeling. I am one of others, who work the dressing room. I love my customers and having a good bit of fashion design under my belt, enjoy sharing with my ladies. It is special to me when one comes to see me again. Sometimes I work the back-room and enjoy my hours there as well. Why? Because I have wonderful management and co-workers regardless where I am needed. We are a diverse and culteral make-up of great employees; young, middle-of-the-road and not so middle-of-the-road any more, therefore I am proud to share just what I feel about our store, and yes! our DM Chris, is SUPER too, as I have great respect for him! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT BEWARE ( mandeville location )

I have shopped at TJ maxx for years and this used to be my favorite location, however on my visit yesterday service was terrible! I found an item I liked that said it was part of a set but one of the pieces was missing, I proceeded to the register to pay and asked if the price would be different since half of it was missing and a nearby worker assured me it would. however the cashier I got refused to answer me when I asked her about it several times and did not adjust the price. she was very unfriendly and merely stared at me until I payed and left…. later on I went to Slidell location and was double charged for a shirt I bought for my husband that I didn’t notice until I got home. I called the store to verify if I needed to come all the way back to Slidell to correct this and was told I could go to any location as long as I brought the items and reciept with me. After going to mandeville location earlier and having issues I didn’t really want to return there but it’s so much closer to my home so I did anyways. upon entry I asked a woman that was by the door if i was in the right place for this and she very gruffly said ‘ there’s one line for everything’ after ignoring my attempts to get her attention for several minutes. after waiting in line and getting to the register I noticed she had been watching me with a sour expression on her face the whole time I was in line. and once I got the the register she was glaring at me and rushed over to stop the employees from helping me with my refund. Having realized she was the manager I asked why she stopped them and was told they need to see the digital reciept … I had already given the paper one and the items and asked why and was told that she needed to see the cameras before issuing the refund. she was incredibly rude about this whole process and completely unprofessional! she was scolding employees in font of customers and you could tell they were so uncomfortable!! they were just doing their job! it’s so sad to see workers treated so badly and that the company doesn’t care enough to get management that cares about the customers at all! I will also note that the woman in front of me in line had a similar issue and this terrible woman didn’t even glance her way! I was merely singled out because I asked her if i was in the right line! will not be returning!!

Serious Problems With Online Operations & Fulfillment

Ordering online there is just not worth it anymore. In the past year, at least half of my orders were unfulfilled because of errors in their stock count, the wrong items were delivered or only partial orders fulfilled, OR they somehow lose your rewards credit (after you checked out with it they show a shipping update WITHOUT the rewards credit). Something serious is going on at their fulfillment centers & the online accounting. If you choose to shop online there, watch your account & credit cards like a hawk because chances are pretty high that something is going to get messed up.

Online ordering

Tjmaxx and Marshalls use a company called Ontrac for delivering online orders. Packages are left unsecured by Ontrac. Tracking details are unavailable, alerts or notifications are absent. It is impossible for customers to know when to expect their packages. This ongoing issue was brought to the attention of customer service but it has been ignored. Corporate office has failed to take any action to ensure that customers can continue to shop with ease. Most important the packages have an order slip with personal information like partial credit card number, address, phone number and name making it easy for customers to become victims of crimes and identity theft.
