I have been using the game collection for few years and every time I get perfection, the items , delivery , and the price are usually very cheap and for brand new items that's a rarity . Very happy
Games are at a great bargain price and are delivered quickly plus there is the added bonus of ten pounds off when pre ordering some games. Definitely would highly recommend The Game Collection

Logged on to my account only to see all my previous orders have disappeared, saying I had no previous orders, even though I have bought items and wanted to check information and warranty information! As a customer this information should be available for warranty claims and potentially tax reasons if self-employed. No other online shop has ever had this issue in my experience, so saying it's a change of computer system seems very suspicious, and now I'm worried my account has been breached and someone has actively deleted my order history. I don't know if I can trust The Game Collection with my personal information moving forward, there was no mention of a system change or mention of losing all your order history. This is quite a major issue and the brush it under the carpet mentality is pretty shocking.
This is the BEST website to buy games from. I’ve never had any issues whatsoever, I’ve ordered two games last week for my Xbox and they arrived within one day of ordering. Such a fast and very efficient service. 10/10.

I have been using thegamecollection for years, they always price their games reasonably and deliver them very quickly, the reward points system is also excellent and feels fair unlike on other sites. I've actually been able to get a good discount on games many times due to reward points and at one point even fully buy a game with reward points. Way better than Amazon.
I'm writing review here because I have no idea how else to get their attention. I made an order on August 7th at 7:47PM and I noticed that the address was wrong. I went into my account to see if I could change the delivery address or cancel the order in order to reorder. Unfortunately this was impossible which I found very confusing given that you can do this almost everywhere else in the world. I emailed them at 7:51PM informing them of the correct address and the order number. I also emailed them again one hour later at 8:48PM just to make sure. August 8th I see they have sent out my order at 12:08PM. I checked my account and the address is still showing the wrong address. I have called them SEVEN times today to try and rectify this issue and they don't pick up. You can't even leave a message. So at this point I have no idea what to do other than write this review. The mistaken address was an auto complete failure that happened when I tried to change payment method and it updated it without me realising. The resultant address is the street address I currently live at combined with a postcode and city of a previous address...in a different country. In other words, that address DOESN'T EVEN EXIST. So other than trying to raise their attention here what do I do?? Edit: obviously if this is fixed I'll update. I'm not trying to hurt a company, I just want the situation fixed. I could have fixed it myself if they had any functionality that allowed you to cancel an order or change details. It wasn't shipped until 14 hours after I emailed them so it could have been easily avoided Edit 2: I now see that they've delivered to the wrong street. This could all have been avoided if there was any way to cancel an order or change address. Edit 3 after company's response: I provided two screenshots that showed I emailed well before dispatch as you acknowledge but as there was no other way to cancel the order at the time that is a problem on your and not mine. I understand your recommendations for the future in case your IT system fails again and does not receive an email which I think is a convoluted system and does not help the current order but I will bear it in mind for the future. I will await the next response.
I placed an order with the game collection and explicitly requested secure delivery requiring ID upon receipt due to previous thefts at my address. Despite this clear request, the retailer failed to provide any secure delivery option, ignored my concerns, and allowed the parcel to be left unattended at my property. The only “proof” of delivery provided was a photo showing the exterior of my building with no parcel visible and no evidence that the item was delivered to me personally. The retailer repeatedly claimed that delivery to the building satisfied their legal obligation under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which is incorrect. Delivery must be to the consumer personally, unless otherwise agreed. They also argued that because I was aware of theft risks they bear no liability for the lost item despite refusing my request for secure delivery in advance. This is a misleading and unacceptable stance. I will now initiate a Section 75 chargeback, report this matter to Trading Standards and Citizens Advice, and may escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service if no possible resolution is made. If you have concerns about delivery security, avoid this retailer. Their lack of accountability and refusal to honour consumer rights make them unreliable and untrustworthy.
Made two orders, one of 2 copies and the other of 3 copies, all were MindsEye PS5, as they were on sale for £20. Each copy was awarded with £10 reward points, I bought all the copies for my brothers and cousins, since it was dirt cheap and on sale. I then had my reward points which I could use to order stuff, but to my surprise today I logged in and all points were wiped. I was told on live chat I am a “trade” account, bear in mind I don’t own or operate any sort of business, or buy copies to sell (makes zero sense)yet my points were wiped. No where on the checkout or email confirmation stated anything about this and even though CS claim it’s in the terms and condition, how can a personal order be a trade account. Lost £50 worth of reward points which I was going to use to preorder a game, but after this experience it seems to me Games Collection use reward points as a incentive to buy and then wipe the coins after you make the purchase. This is my last time using this site as I have used it before in the past, but after this experience I have realised the schemes this company does with its false advertising, that leads you into purchases because of reward points and then wipe. I will be sharing my experience with all my gaming buddies and our fb group consisting of 250k uk gamers.
