Impossible to cancel order or change address
I'm writing review here because I have no idea how else to get their attention. I made an order on August 7th at 7:47PM and I noticed that the address was wrong. I went into my account to see if I could change the delivery address or cancel the order in order to reorder. Unfortunately this was impossible which I found very confusing given that you can do this almost everywhere else in the world. I emailed them at 7:51PM informing them of the correct address and the order number. I also emailed them again one hour later at 8:48PM just to make sure. August 8th I see they have sent out my order at 12:08PM. I checked my account and the address is still showing the wrong address. I have called them SEVEN times today to try and rectify this issue and they don't pick up. You can't even leave a message. So at this point I have no idea what to do other than write this review. The mistaken address was an auto complete failure that happened when I tried to change payment method and it updated it without me realising. The resultant address is the street address I currently live at combined with a postcode and city of a previous address...in a different country. In other words, that address DOESN'T EVEN EXIST. So other than trying to raise their attention here what do I do?? Edit: obviously if this is fixed I'll update. I'm not trying to hurt a company, I just want the situation fixed. I could have fixed it myself if they had any functionality that allowed you to cancel an order or change details. It wasn't shipped until 14 hours after I emailed them so it could have been easily avoided Edit 2: I now see that they've delivered to the wrong street. This could all have been avoided if there was any way to cancel an order or change address. Edit 3 after company's response: I provided two screenshots that showed I emailed well before dispatch as you acknowledge but as there was no other way to cancel the order at the time that is a problem on your and not mine. I understand your recommendations for the future in case your IT system fails again and does not receive an email which I think is a convoluted system and does not help the current order but I will bear it in mind for the future. I will await the next response.
