I've been booking my flights with Southall Travel for over 20 years now, and they've always delivered great service. This time, I worked with Norman, and I have to say – he was absolutely brilliant. I had quite a few changes and back&forth with my travel plans, but ahndled well. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Norman & team.
Vandana is an excellent travel Consultant. She has always dealt with our requests in a very prompt, timely and most effective way. She has always been polite and understanding of our flexibility in booking tickets. She is an absolute asset to the Southall team well done well Vandana.
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received from Southall Travel regarding a trip I booked with them back in November. I informed them within the next couple of months that I would have to cancel. I paid £1000 deposit and did not get a penny back for it they were very unprofessional when I asked them to help me out in someway for me to use the deposit on another flight but they were asking for a ridiculous amount of money on top. I chose this company based on their reputation for excellent customer service and well-planned itenary. I suggest you handle complaints from customers better and offer appropriate solutions!
Overall my experience with Southall travel was highly unsatisfactory I expected a much higher level of service given the reputation and price point of your Agency.
I paid Southall travel £1,500 for a return ticket that should have cost no more than £1,000. On my return journey, I had an emergency and needed to change my flight approximately five hours before departure.
I understand that last-minute cancellations typically result in minimal refunds. However, when I called Southall Travel, they offered me a pathetic refund of £15-£20 for a no-show. Instead of genuinely helping, they offered me a “discounted” flight for £555, claiming it was only because I had already paid for my original ticket. A quick online search showed the same flight available for £300.
They showed zero empathy for my emergency and were more interested in profiting from my situation rather than offering a fair price. Their lack of ethics and compassion is appalling. Avoid them at all costs!
Spoke to Noah about package holiday to Dubai. We had specific requirements like location, flights and budget- which were met. Noah was direct, to the point and very competent at his job. Will book again and ask for Noah for sure.
I am really happy with the package holiday booked by Karen Bali. He took his time to schedule the holiday accordingly and also included all the places we wanted to visit. He has gone above and beyond to provide us with the best experience . I would definitely recommend Southall Travels to my family and friends. He did not mind me changing timings, days, or flights. He provided the best customer service, to the point that I booked another same-day flight for my cousin.
Was looking to book a 5-Star holiday to Langkawi in Malaysia, initially travelling in March 2025. My wife changed jobs, and she is unable to take holiday in March 2025 - we asked Southall Travel to book the same hotel in Langkawi, the very same room type, the exact same number of nights and all on full-board. Today I was told their is a cancellation charge and re-booking charge equating to £270 per person - that's a whopping £540 for a couple. It's an utter disgrace, merely to move dates - I was warned against using Southall Travel prior to booking - and I should of listened. I will never use Southall Travel again, and I would advice you to read the fine print if you book with this company #absolutedisgace #southalltravel
