Bought a hamster few weeks ago he’s only a few weeks old and he had everything a big cage all the stuff and he’s just died and all they asked for is the receipt. I’m distraught I loved him so much he was the cutest baby ever and now he’s gone and idk what to do ☹️
I think it’s so fun because you have pet workshops and your animals are so cute I ❤️ animals especially hamsters and other rodents
Because everything is so well set out at the Wigan store and the staff are really helpful and pleasant when they see you

Pets at Home deliveries are the easiest way to get bulky items like cat litter and food. They have messed up the order a couple of times but always resent items quickly. James M. on web chat had arranged a new delivery before I had even finished the chat!

Placed an order online to click and collect at our Guildford store, when I picked up the order I realised they sent a black lead not a red lead (luckily I noticed before I left Guildford store). Store stated if I reorder in the same way it’s likely to happen again! They suggested they reorder for home delivery but I would have to pay delivery (store would not budge on this), even though this was Pets at Homes error and I had already wasted my time and fuel going to pick up an order with the wrong item! Once I returned home I realised that not only did they charge me delivery, I was overcharged for the lead as they didn’t honour my original discount code! I immediately complained and then waited four working days for a response, only to be told I need to go back to the store, waste more of my time and fuel to be able to get a refund. I get companies make mistakes but it doesn’t excuse the extremely poor customer service I have received.

I received a second parcel (not ordered or charged for) with my subscription order. I used chat line to inform the company. This was efficient and they have arranged collection on a day and hour slot of my choosing. Not sure if the mistake was Pets At Home or Evri but both items were addressed to me.

The order process was very simple. We had a delivery date and a message the evening before with our time slot. We received the delivery then a message saying your delivery is not complete I phoned the delivery guys and they said there should of been 3 boxes we only had 2 several days pass we had no communication from Pets at Home so I did an online chat to be told this was an error it now comes in 2 boxes the computer has not been updated! We now proceeded to build our hutch except the 2 boxes had identical pieces. Another online chat and a new hutch was dispatched and the incorrect boxes collected. To be fair the online chat although a lengthy queue process worked but very frustrating errors.

I had help straight away from Sophie McAdamc.She was very helpful in cancelling my dogs flea treatment subscription as Daisy passed away on Monday.She was very professional and even sent her condolences on the loss of my pet.Keep up the good work.
