Fantastic experience for conveyancing and mortgage advise.
We used Ocean for conveyancing and mortgage advise. Conveyancing: Really excellent service throughout by Linda and her team. Everything sorted as quickly as possible and dealt really well with the sellers solicitors who were causing headaches. Howla website kept us up to date, as did emails and phone calls. Never had to chase once. Really impressed. Mortgage Advise: Again excellent service, this time by Luigi. Friendly and happy to chat through all the details with you. Found us a great deal, and regularly checked for rate changes to save us money. All around excellent.

First rate company. Dealt with the office in Westbury-on-Trym. Chris Janiak and Melissa Bell have been very supportive throughout the selling process. They have managed the sale extremely well. Communication and updates have both been regular and excellent. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Ocean Estate Agents in Southville, Bristol, were outstanding. We initially signed with a competitor who overpromised and underdelivered—failing to provide the priority alerts we were assured of. Ocean, despite no obligation, did exactly that. After just one viewing, they tailored their search to our preferences, sending daily alerts and even calling us for priority viewings as new properties were listed. Claire Kington was exceptional—friendly, professional, and highly knowledgeable, not just about the properties and the area but also about the circumstances surrounding each sale. She has an incredible ability to understand exactly what you need in a home, and thanks to her, we secured our dream property while also building a great relationship with the vendors. Once our offer was accepted, Jenny Green took over, and Ocean’s high standard of service continued. She was professional, communicative without being overbearing, and truly went the extra mile—especially as our own estate agents for the sale were dreadful. She kept everything on track, navigating last-minute hurdles, including an unexpected completion deadline that forced us to exchange and complete on the same day after three days of stress. Through it all, Claire and Jenny were reassuring, patient, and incredibly supportive. If you're looking for an exceptional estate agent in Southville, Ocean is the one—you don’t want to end up in a Hole like we did with our sale!

Move mangers are excellent.
I have to say that the move team, Liz and Lisa are incredible, an asset to their organisation. They are on it! We had such a slow, tricky buyer and they were just always on it and supportive - exactly what you need when you’re stressed out! They come across as two individuals that really want to do a great job. Our main 2 sales professionals were also great when we reached out to them. In particular Stacey. She is such a natural, kind hearted member of staff, that I feel should be running her own branch or working for herself, she is so capable and I really like how she took the time to get to know the property and show case it. Her viewings were always thorough. The not so positives, communication and the portal. It takes away the customer facing expect of it and sometimes you just want a human and the company is becoming to reliant on this. The branch manager was unprofessional at times, ignored messages and when I wanted to work through certain points, far too much time was spent moving about our previous agents and why Ocean are better. I knew that, hence why I went with Ocean, we just didn’t need to hear that all the time. Instead I felt opportunities were missed to show case why Ocean were great. Luckily, Stacey, Jess, Liz and Lisa were just such an asset to their company. Well done to them for showcasing their business in the best light possible and I hope they have successful careers.

I couldn't have had a better experience…
I couldn't have had a better experience purchasing my first home with Ocean. Aside from the fact all of their properties look beautiful, the customer service is fantastic. Ella who showed me round and was my first point of call in the beginning, answered all my questions, but the rest of the team at Ocean kept me updated frequently and they clearly care about both their vendors and the buyers. Have reccomended them to many people already and will continue to do so. Thank you so much. Couldn't be more thrilled.
