Fantastic experience for conveyancing and mortgage advise.
We used Ocean for conveyancing and mortgage advise. Conveyancing: Really excellent service throughout by Linda and her team. Everything sorted as quickly as possible and dealt really well with the sellers solicitors who were causing headaches. Howla website kept us up to date, as did emails and phone calls. Never had to chase once. Really impressed. Mortgage Advise: Again excellent service, this time by Luigi. Friendly and happy to chat through all the details with you. Found us a great deal, and regularly checked for rate changes to save us money. All around excellent.

Excellent in the price bracket.
For the price i paid Ocean gave an excellent service. The online portal was great for tracking the process. Karen, Louise and Sarah were very helpful, particularly when they had tasks they were progressing. I took one star off is because I think they were quite over-busy and while waiting for others to come back eg with enquiries, communication was much thinner. And there was no in-person meeting throughout. However very happy over all, would recommend particularly in this price bracket.

The service could be much better
The overall service could be much better. The sale took 6 months to complete (even though the seller was also selling their house through Ocean), during this time certain aspects of the procedure proved to be difficult including organisation and communication. We found the solicitors to be particularly difficult and often rude in their mannerisms. That being said, we are thankful to Nicola who was very informative and helpful.
