We used Ocean for conveyancing and mortgage advise. Conveyancing: Really excellent service throughout by Linda and her team. Everything sorted as quickly as possible and dealt really well with the sellers solicitors who were causing headaches. Howla website kept us up to date, as did emails and phone calls. Never had to chase once. Really impressed. Mortgage Advise: Again excellent service, this time by Luigi. Friendly and happy to chat through all the details with you. Found us a great deal, and regularly checked for rate changes to save us money. All around excellent.

Easy and efficient
Ocean estate were really easy to work with and made our renting experience very efficient. My partner and I have just moved from overseas and we were concerned we'd face a lot of issues when it came to renting, but our letting agent Lily Butler was so helpful and got back to us super quickly whenever we had questions or concerns. It was one of the least stressful renting experiences we've ever had. Within two weeks of arriving in the UK, we had a lovely place to rent and had finished all the paperwork. Thanks Lily!

Terrible communication. I had to chase endlessly throughout a 9 month process. They had the interstate of the seller above the buyer at all times. I felt lied to at multiple times and the ‘selling manager’ did not have a handle on the sale at all, repeatedly asking for the same information that she already had as well as not communicating with us and Ben calling us by the wrong names. The process should have been simple with no chain, but went on for nearly a year, mostly due to incompetence. And even in the end, no resolution for us as buyers, as we were still left with unsatisfied enquiries , just to get the sale through. Then not even the decency to hand us over our keys when we finally came to completion, despite agreeing a time. Extremely poor service, would never recommend.

We were very happy with Ocean Property Lawyers who were our solicitors for our recent house purchase. Initially we were going to buy a house through Ocean Estate Agents and mostly through laziness we decided to use their in house solicitors because it meant not having to find one ourselves. However, when the purchase fell through after several months, as we were already dealing with Claire as our solicitor, we kept her on to help us buy the house we subsequently found through a different estate agent. Throughout the process she was very clear, thorough and always approachable. We would heartily recommend her and Ocean Property Lawyers to anyone looking to buy a house.

Excellent service
Ocean did a great job for me, selling super-fast and keeping me informed at every stage. I opted to use their associated conveyancing company, in the hope the close working relationships, in the same building, would help things along. This worked really well. I was warned that leasehold property sales are taking longer and longer these days, but completion was a little sooner than I'd expected, with everything going smoothly.

No fuss, easy, free remortgaging advice
This is the second time Ocean's mortgage advisors had helped me in securing good deals for remortgaging. They always deliver to the highest standards with no fuss, and made it always a very easy process for me which is reassuring and it did not worry me particularly I am working. Richard J., Claire F. and Tracey G. were the same people who helped me secure my first mortgage, and I will always be grateful for their help. They always update me of what is happening or what is the expectation. I know for sure I will only rely on them everytime I will again remortgage in the future.
