Certificate was not generated alongside my test results. Also it seems that this company doesn’t sell tests anymore; my guess is their platform (and customer service) will steadily decline from here. Just another company trying to make a quick buck from the pandemic.

In some places Covid Self test kit costs around £15, how ever the kits which I got it from Now Test was for £5, its easy to use and with self explanatory instructions.

Poor service left in a lurch

Booked a day 2 & 8 on 28 march for my husband when we returned from France on 29 March. Mine was done through another lab and had no problem. The day 2 test kit arrived on day 2 after 1 pm. Posted test that day and the result arrived 3 days later. Today is day 10 and we are still waiting to receive day 8 kit. No reply to my emails. We are left in a lurch. This lab needs to be taken out of the UK gov web site. It is a rip off .

Awful experience all round

Awful experience all round, don't use this scam company! Terrible website which is difficult to use, the barcode scanning page doesn't function well and there are many gaps in the instructions they provide for returning your swabs. Delayed Day 2 results, Day 8 test has not arrived in time. No phone number to call, just an automated email response to email queries. This company is clearly making a lot of money off this government contract and are not set up properly. Please don't use!

Scandalous! Should be outlawed!

Scandalous!! Happy enough to take our money as my wife had to return to UK for a close family bereavement and yet it’s day 12 and still no result from Day 8 test. Day 2 test was also late but now there’s just an online apology! Government need to withdraw their official status as they are abysmal with no consequence to their abject, pathetic service which costs hundreds of pounds! Avoid at all costs, especially if you’re in a hurry (having already spent hundreds to get home for this sad occasion) and we certainly have not finished with these dubious ********s... starting to smell a dirty rat!! Beware people, they are callous and useless, and do not give you what they claim!

My brothers day 2 results still not…

My brothers day 2 results still not arrived on day 11 and day 8 test not arrived. Chased with numerous phone calls until number inactive. Promised return calls within an hour. No replies ever received. Had 2 x tests fully paid for with no outcomes. No way to claim money back. Very distressing. Dad diagnosed with terminal cancer and no test results. So what are we meant to do? Do NOT use Day 2 results didn't arrive, they left on day 12 with no day 8 tests arriving. Emailed and phoned. No response. Awful. 2 months later they got a 25% refund but they won't be using this service again as the service did not work

Test not arrived and they have disconnected their contact number

I ordered my day 2 & 8 tests from them after being stranded abroad for 4 months. Day two test arrived on day two with minimal instructions, no info on how to scan the bar code and was unable to use the link on their website to order the courier service After calling and waiting on hold for ages I finally got through to someone who basically rushed me off the phone Day 8 test never arrived and it is now day 11, no contact from them and their contact number has been disconnected/disabled I have requested a refund via email and have received an automated message which looks doubtful that they will refund and will have to wait 7 days for a response DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCOMPETENT

We ordered from Now Test

We ordered from Now Test - 2 and 8 days tests, gave them £340. The codes and test kits all arrived on time. However the results took over 7 days to arrive on both occasions, totally useless and adding a lot of time to self isolation. There is no customer service, no response to e-mails or phone calls. This is a money making front they just handle website and money and pass it on to a lab, a pure middle man taking the cash and non of the risk or ownership. We will try and get a refund from them but doubtless to say they ToC will preclude it despite their supposed commitment to Government compliance. I would't even trust them to know the results are real!

Mixed feelings

Updated review: I arrived in the UK on 28 March 2021, the arrival date is day 0 and all subsequent quarantine/test dates are relative to the arrival date. Day 2 test kit came just on time (in day 2). I sent my sample back the same day before Royal Mail's collection time. The sample arrived in the lab early in the following morning (day 3) and did not get my results in the timeframe advertised by NowTest. I had to chase them via e-mail, phone and on their Instagram profile (the comments have since been deleted). Once I stated that I would fill up a formal complaint at action fraud, the CEO contacted me (on day 5 - good Friday) and apologised, he told me NowTest's struggles and reinsured me that NowTest would sort things out for me. Over the phone, he claims the issue was with the lab and that they lost my sample (unfortunately, I could not verify this information). Later (on day 6), still over the phone, he informs the lab has communicated my results to the wrong company. NowTest's CEO also informally informed me my test results (negative), the results were available in NowTest's "app" later that day (day 6). On day 6, I also had a "test to release" test (also RT-PCR test, the same method as for the "day 2" test) from another test provider which uses the same laboratory as the one used by NowTest. The test to release results were available the same day, on day 6 (within 12h from the reception of the sample in the lab); this difference in sample processing time makes me wonder in the laboratory's responsibility in the delays of the results of the day 2 test. I was supposed to receive my "day 8 test kit" on day 8; however, my "Day 8 test kit" arrived on day 12 (the same day I informed them I filled up a complaint with Action Fraud). Meanwhile, I did a "fit to fly" test (booked with another test provider) on day 11. I got my fit to fly test results on the same day (less than 8h from the testing time). The "fit to fly" test provider did not use the same laboratory as NowTest. On day 12, the CEO of NowTest called me and offered me a solution for all the trouble with the day 2, day 8 tests. I flew away from the UK on day 14. I got tested (RT-PCR) upon arrival to my destination, and I got my results 9h50min later. As I update this review, I am in day 15 and I just got my day 8 test results (done on day 12). It took NowTest and its partner(s) 3 days to get my result and report it to me. It is worth nothing that communication with NowTest has been a major challenge. NowTest asks customers to contact the company via email; however, NowTest failed to reply to all my e-mails. There used to be a phone line to get support; however, phone calls were unhelpful and phone lines were cut on day 11 (Thursday, 08-Apr-2021). Comments in their Instagram pages have been deleted. And their Youtube videos have comments off. These two actions are an attempt to prevent customers to express what is really going on with them. A Facebook group has been setup to discuss challenges with day 2, day 8 tests (across test providers). NowTest's CEO was the only one to reply to our comments. I believe NowTest's CEO has good intentions with the goal to lower COVID 19 testing prices for passengers. He has been listening to our feedback and has halted day 2, day 8 tests selling until he finds a better solution for the scheme. I genuinely hope he will find a good, reliable solution. The UK Government Test & Test service was not helpful to resolve issues with day 2, day 8 tests.
