DREADFUL SERVICE

DREADFUL. Our company outsources to this hopeless lot. They can't even manage to get the phone number right for an occupational health review, despite me phoning and updating and despite my HR manager contacting them. They send out appointments and expect us to jump through hoops when we have hospital appointments that CANNOT be changed. We cannot get in touch by phone or email - Obviously it saves employers hassle by claiming they use a reputable company blah blah, but they are incompetent at dealing with people who actually need an Occ Health appointment.

Clueless and incompetent and time wasting

Time wasting:, had an occupational health assessment appointment with a Dr who had not even written up the clinical notes over a week later than the appointment when the report itself should be with you within 5-7 working days absolutely appalling service there phone service is diabolical can't even get in contact 9/10ths of the time when they do eventually answer they put you on hold or give you a useless answer and hang up getting in contact with the company is almost impossible when you do have the appointment they cut you off halfway with trying to discuss your situation and the customer service is appalling they don't even answer the emails or the phone I haven't even got the report back and it's not even been done and its been over a week As anyone with a buisness or company Do not recommend Using this shambles of a company if you need an OH you need at least real medical evidence and real OH backing you up as a second opinion ? Absolutely shocking company

I had appointment in the City of…

I had appointment in the City of London. It in the building under construction. Difficult to find. Took 40min.callex to ask nobody responds for 30 mind and calls go to drop. When finally got there, was late... By 30 min... But they could not find practicioner for 15 min... Then No tolerance... We will not accept you... Too late... Don't go there

If you're suffering with your mental health. These will make it even worse. Absolutely appalling company. Have no compassion or empathy at all. I have reported them today to my HR department.

Did not call at appointed time,

My employer arranged a phone appointment for me with Medigold. They did NOT call at the appointed time, but later left a voicemail by which time I had gone out. They then wrote to my employer saying that I "did not attend" the appointment. Really poor service.

Disgraceful service practice

If I could I would leave - star rating, they have booked three appointment with me and all three times have not called and said I didn't attend the appointment but charged my employer for the appointment, I have double checked my contact details with them twice now, all have been correct from day one, I still not have my OH appointment and these appointments have been a waste of mine and my managers time (sat with me at my request for support, waiting for appointment. Which never happened) Medigold Health don't ring back when I left a message for someone to ring me back reguarding these missed appointments every time they are missed (which is also been done in front of my manager). Disgraceful service they blame who they are meant to be supporting and lie stating are not engaging by missing their appointments (how many employees have been blamed for the complete lack of service & their employers have been billed for. I am lucky I have a manager who is happy to sit with you and support, so knows the truth) then charged for appointments they didn't keep, it is a disgrace.

Disappointing

During an occupational health assessment with an occupational health nurse I was told by them that they knew more about my condition (disability) than my neurologist does. They also told me that it was not within their remit to suggest reasonable adjustments for my employer to consider to help me and my team in the workplace yet my employer (which is part of the disability confident scheme) told me this was the very reason I had been referred for an occupational health assessment in the first place, to get expert advice. This error resulted in the organisation I work for having to pay for another occupational health assessment with a doctor (also via medigold) in order to remedy the situation and get necessary information about potential reasonable adjustments under the equality act. Since then I have also encountered unnecessarily rude staff in their client services team on the telephone, the most recent encounter being 28th April 2023. I also note that there is no clear complaints procedure or contact details for the complaints team visible on their website which is disappointing and unhelpful as there is no way to provide constructive feedback so others don't encounter the same unnecessary difficulties which can be particularly harmful when already unwell.

Horrendous!

Horrendous!! Impossible to get through to anyone and multiple voice messages left with no call back. When you finally speak to someone, promises are made to get back to you with an update but guess what...nothing! It's made this whole process incredibly difficult and the situation regarding my health worse than it ever should be. Never again!

Diabolical.

Diabolical. My company outsourced our OH activities to Medigold around 2016. The process from when you are referred by your employer is eventually in invite to a single call arrives and following report is eventually given. My call was 25 minutes in my case. It allowed them to get up to speed and ask the relevant questions they need to complete for my employer. This OH report is key for me and the organisation I work this I wanted to make sure it is medically accurate and fit for purpose. The report is finally issued however if you have any concerns or questions about it, they will only review in writing. If you do not approve it’s release while you review, they will offer to tell your employer you have withdrawn consent. No further call or discussion is allowed. I have no view if they spoke with any other medical professional looking after my care or considered the consultant letters provided. This is a financial transaction for them. Medigold are not here to help you if you’re in need of help and support. I have released my report under duress after a previous threat of them saying they would advise my employer I had withdrawn my consent. I have never been so ill for so long and this process is poor. If your asked to do a call with these people. Make sure you send all your evidence in advance, they wont read it but keep the record, time the start and end of the call. They will only focus on what the employer has asked them in the referral which you do not see so ask them what was in your referral. Do not be surprised when they tell you that you return to work plan in minimal even after 9 months of ill health.

Medigold shambles

The company overall are a shambles. Staff members are back stabbing and liers. The hr can't do anything correct. And the staff that are supposed to be in charge, dont have a cule how to treat staff or clinets. Over all shambles of a company. I could name and shame but whats the point. Any complaints put in get brush under the table.

Failure to honour appointment

Medigold arranged for me to have a telephone appointment this morning - their clinician was to call me at the appointed time. I received no phone call, and they have failed to respond to several emails from me asking for an explanation. They also made a big deal about GDPR compliance and password protecting sensitive documents; then failed to apply the password to the document containing personal details.

Complete mikey mouse of a company.the only reason the only reason the employer uses them is because they are cheap and will always side with the employer to replace you. in the middle of a meeting with my manager's due medical issues they phoned me to say they needed written consent from myself to access my medical records to see how they could help to which I had no problem 3 months on I still haven't received a letter asking for access my medical files? But received numerous txt messages to say I have missed an appointment with one of there health professionals? If that's the case how can their health professionals say what the problem is without seeing my medical records first? Lol needless to say I ignored every txt from them. Sorry but I'm not having my medical issues reviews from there next door neighbours dog lol please ignore any txts from them until you have given written consent to view your medical records. I did and guess what I'm still in a job. They only uses to side with an employer. Mickey mouse company

Absolutely disgusting treatment.

My husband has just returned from a medical with this awful company. The rudest receptionists he has ever encountered who bark at every customer they were incredibly condescending & patronising. My husband witnessed appalling behaviour by the receptionists to a really nice bus driver who just wanted something clarified. The Nurse made made my husband feel very uncomfortable. Threatened to fail his eye test even though he has just been to an opticians with absolutely no issues. Made him so stressed his blood pressure raised dramatically then wouldn’t tell him if he passed his medical or not. As a train driver of 15 years who has had a medical every year this was the worst encounter he has ever had! Truly disgusting treatment by very unprofessional people!

I have to have a blood test and Heb B .

I have to have a blood test and Heb B . I have had nothing but delays with Medigold. I'm on a excellerated course but it has taken 2 months to get the second appointment. Once here they have no record of my appointment,had to show them email for proof. I have been sitting here for 75 mins waiting for them to get their act together.Hope less.
