Stay away from these scammers!!! Bought a 30 day rolling contract so that if needed I could leave if I no longer needed an additional sim. When I tried to give them a 30 day notice to close my account they told me I've been moved to a 24 month contract and that it's not possible to leave and I'll need to pay off the remainder of my contract!!!! Read over all documents I've been sent and there was no mention of this ANYWHERE. Do you self a favour and pay £5 more and get a PROPER provider.

Customer service is non existent! It's impossible to get through their automated system to speak to someone. I ended up pressing random numbers until it finally said I was being put through to an advisor only to be kept waiting 20mins before I gave up. I had problems right from the get go with sim activation - not receiving the registration texts. Still no reply to my emails. Lyca's low cost plans are attractive but their complete lack of customer support means I will be switching right back to ee!

I feel cheated and robbed by Lyca mobile UK and I want to encourage people that have gone through similar experiences from this company to speak and not keep quiet, I think is only way to get them to improve and stop exploiting the poor. I recently acquired a Lyca mobile number which I wanted to use for a home broadband. I then went on to Lyca mobile website to buy a plan. On their website, Lyca offered a half price for a first time customer which is £12.50 for their UK plan unlimited but at the checkout point, I was charged £25 and this was their first strike of foul play. I went on and paid because I wanted try their service to see if it was worth changing to from my current smarty network which did not support indoor 5G network in my area. The Lyca UK plan unlimited worked well only for days (13/04/2025 to 15/04/2025) and got blocked by Lyca. Since then I have tried to contact Lyca without any success, I have tried to email them with my Gmail for two days now they have not replied and this is why I call them scammers, they charged me more than they offered and still did not deliver. Hey Lyca, I have included the mobile number in question as the reference under here may be you could have some decency to do your checks and refund my money as I have now returned to the service I was using before.

I tried to contact your customer support, and after 24 minutes of waiting, there was a woman who would not take any of my concerns in consideration, i have explained there was a scammer from this number +442035182733 Continuously trying to go into my account sending the one time password, to log in, i have terminated the call, and tried to call you as soon as i realised, to be confrunted with a woman that is asking me to go to various links, after babling that she is frustrated about about my language, regarding the scammers, seems that your appropriate talk is more important than to take action and prevent fraud and information leak, after carefull consideration i will terminate this number and move to a new network where security is taken in more serious matter, and add a note on trust pilot, on how low your needs for customer support are. Not to say the rapport of understanding that is not my job to file reports on your behalf, when scams are taking live action. Hope my language is appropiate enough for your concern. As of today, as yesterday i posted this message i have received a call of concern of why have i left my message on trust pilot, not how sorry they are, of the poor handling of the matter, explained the story again, on how my language was towards the scammers, and i got no problem with the lady at the end of the line, and their initial concern is about their image, not even close to how to improve their security, or being sorey for telling me to go look for some links what they think is my job to handle the security concerns, my dear Lyca, what universe are you living into, since when does the end user works for you to the level of cyber-security warden ? Is there so much to add in a 2 minutes call ? Answer, occured around minute 24 of waiting, call ended after 25 minutes and 41 seconds .. so, lets see how long does it takes to investigate.
