I purchased a 60Gb bundle for 30 Day, £15. 2 hours later it was gone! How’s that even possible, I was only watching Sky Go?
Good service I'm happy 😊
Ordered but never received package

I tried signing up with Lycamobile for a simple pay monthly plan, but I never received a contract, a phone number, or any confirmation of service. Despite this, they’ve been taking £10 from my account every month for the past three months – for absolutely nothing. Trying to get help is a complete nightmare. Every time I call their customer service, I’m passed around to agents who barely speak English and offer no solution whatsoever. I’ve had the same conversation multiple times and still nothing has been resolved. No refund, no service, no accountability. This company is unprofessional, misleading, and completely incompetent. Avoid at all costs – I regret ever giving them my details.

I made the mistake of ordering 3 SIMs from Lyca and ported in one of my numbers from GiffGaff. Big mistake! The coverage turned out not to be what it should have been according to the offcom map and their customer service is hopeless as I've tried many time to phone them only to be told all their operatives are busy and gave up waiting each time. Their so called AI 'chatbot' is crap as well and just takes around in a loop without invoking a human or being any help. I now just want to get my PAC so I can move my number back to GiffGaff but each time a send the SMS to 65065 with PAC in the message I get an immediate message back shown verbatim : "Sorry, your Pac request is failed please try again later...!" (Spot the mistakes in that, very short message) I just read that they are in trouble for not paying VAT in the uk as well. I guess offcom will get an email from me next as I don;t know what else I can do as I want to keep my number. July 2nd: Tried yet again to get the PAC by sending a message to 65065 and this time I got it (7th attempt!). Funny how this worked today after I posted this review yesterday and got a missed call from Lyca while in a meeting. I've now started the move back to GiffGaff with whom I've been a happy customer for many years but I was after better coverage which I though Lyca would have. Best stay clear of Lyco, IMHO update 3rd July: GiffGaff now have my number so I'm divorced from Lyca and happier. I did provide an order reference via TrustPilot but was never emailed by Lyca.

Absolutely appalling experience with Lycamobile. I have never encountered such consistently dishonest and incompetent service from a telecom provider. I paid £4 for a monthly bundle three times — on 30 May, 8 June, and 11 June 2023. Despite this, Lycamobile cancelled two of these bundles without my consent or any explanation — and I was never properly refunded. Here’s exactly what happened: • On 28 April, I called to cancel my March bundle, which I had purchased on 30 March 2023. • Instead of cancelling that old bundle, they wrongly cancelled the bundle I had just paid for on 30 May, which was meant to cover the entire month of June. I received no notification, and found out only when I had no service. • On 7 June, I contacted Lycamobile. I was told to buy the bundle again, and that I would receive a refund for the cancelled one. I followed their advice and paid another £4 on 8 June. • This second bundle was also cancelled without informing me. They didn’t refund it to my bank. Instead, they quietly added it to a Lycamobile wallet, which I had never heard of. Assuming my bundle was active, I turned on data. The wallet balance was immediately used up, and again I had no service. • When I called again, they told me to pay again and they’d refund me. So I paid £4 a third time on 11 June — all for the same 30-day bundle. So within 10 days, I had paid £12 for the same £4 service, and received nothing. After being ignored, misled, and passed around for weeks, I filed a chargeback through my bank for the first two payments. Only then did Lycamobile respond — by blocking my SIM completely, even though I had paid again on 11 June and was still entitled to use their service. Customer service has been not only useless, but actively obstructive. I was told the issue would be resolved within 72 hours, but nothing has happened. I still have no access to my number or data. Let me be clear: • I only filed a chargeback after dozens of ignored emails and failed calls. • I will not reverse it, because Lycamobile has proven that it cannot be trusted to issue fair refunds or take responsibility for its own mistakes. • If I don’t receive a working SIM or my PAC number within the promised timeframe, I will be filing a final chargeback for the 11 June payment as well. This company is a textbook example of shady practices. They charge for services they don’t provide, cancel bundles without consent, hide refunds in internal wallets, and punish customers who stand up for themselves. I will be moving to a new provider. Lycamobile is just a scam.

Customer Service is a nightmare, tried numerous ways, emails seldom get a response and nothing helpful is returned as though they have red email. Purchase add-on for Albania, didn't work, no one can help. Would try and get a refund, but nobody would be helping so what's the point. Calls fail to connect often, no WiFi calling. Only positive for me is that they are cheap and use EE network, if it will connect. As far as a provider goes it's the bare minimum, and often not even that. Update - response already, will keep you updated, shame it doesn't get responded to when not in the public eye Have escalated the issue to their complaints email address several days ago, and despite chasing, am yet to receive a response. Seriously, please do not use this company. I am sure the team are nice people, but the company is utterly useless

Utter Garbage. Went with them as they use EE's network and I had to leave EE. Phone no longer works in places it did, in fact it barely works anywhere. Data service is useless as the phone cannot switch to 4g. No VoLTE or WiFi calling so calls are made via spotty and unreliable 2G service and customer services are clueless. Waste of time and money,

Absolutely shocking! I travelled to the UK from Australia and thought I signed up for a one off payment esim. Turns out it was monthly. When back in Australia it was impossible to cancel my plan and customer support was none existent. Online chat didn't work and it took days for email support to answer and even when they did they didn't address my issue. They have charged my card twice even though I am no longer using their service. I was left with no choice but to to cancel my bank card. Do not use this company at all costs. Never had an issue like this before.
