GREAT SERVICE!

Great help on the phone with specifics to return some shoes. I expected issues in the US to Canada process would be a drawn out process & involve extra money. What a delight to receive assistance from your guru that was painless and easy! I will buy my next pair of shoes from KURU.

I am a huge fan of Kuru Shoes

I am a huge fan of Kuru Shoes! Great footwear. I have just selected my 6th pair. Great customer service, and supported with an easy exchange when I needed one. I will continue to add additional styles to my collection. I have a 30 year history with foot pain, (PT, cortisone injections, prescrition orthotics, and even surgery, etc) These shoes are amazing!

I just ordered a pair of Kuru shoes

I just ordered a pair of Kuru shoes, I expect them to arrive next week so this is not a review on the shoes but rather the purchase - surgeons reattached my foot 25 years ago after an accident and I had very specific questions I needed answered, sent an email to customer care, receive one of most detailed response I have received in similar inquiries and it came the same day as my email! I am excited to get my new shoes and confident I can depend on Kuru customer service. Thank you!

KURU stands by their brand!

My husband is a huge fan of the KURU brand. Since he started wearing them two years ago, his plantar fasciitis pain has been greatly relieved. We recently purchased a pair of Ridge Motions, and he loved them. They began to tear near the laces, and I made an inquiry about a replacement. The KURU gurus’ response was quick, and a new pair was on the way within 48 hours. Thanks KURU!

MY shoes did not fit perfectly. When I reached out, there was no back and forth. I am shipping my shoes back and they are shipping me a new pair. Easy and much appreciated!

Kurus are a Nurses Friend!

I Have ordered my wife two pairs of shoes in the last two weeks,One pair of Atom 2 and she was wearing and older pair of Chicane’s,So I ordered her a new pair! Everything went smoothly and There Customer Care is Awesome ! My wife is a Nurse and Kuru Shoes help her heals from hurting her after all day on her feet ! They have helped tremendously with Plantar Fasciitis! Thank You Kuru !!! Greg Propst

Today’s representative was polite, understood the issues.and did all she could to correct the fiasco with a previous rep.

I had a bitter experience a couple months ago when I was trying to switch shoes I ordered. It was related to a broken commitment by the young man I was talking to. The service today was the great service I enjoyed in previous years. While she had no way to correct the broken commitment by a previous young man, she did give me some credit to help. Glad I called and hopefully something will work out in the future.

5 star Customer Service

I just spoke with Patrick and he was outstanding!! His time, patience and suggestions to me is what great customer looks like. Great Job Previously I spoke with a Gloria and she was Fantastic as well!!! I received shoes as a gift and they didn’t work for me. I held onto them for over a month and decided to call in. My second time calling, Gloria answered and took the time to listen to my story and help me out with an exchange. Her suggestions for shoes standing on my feet all day or walking all day, were just what I needed.

Bad experience with my first time order…

I placed an order that was out of stock and instead of notifying and refunding me, my order was received and left unfulfilled. 8 days after placing the order I called and spoke to a representative named Gloria. Gloria investigated the situation and called me back with an explanation and an apology. She told me the product I ordered was out of stock and what should have happened is that I should have been notified, the order cancelled and my money refunded. She proceeded to cancel the order and put a rush on the refund. She also put $25 on my account to use for future orders. Gloria was phenomenal and excellent at customer relations. I give her five stars. The company I rate with one star because of my experience with the order. I do not feel that I can trust future orders will be handled appropriately and therefore doubt I will order from Kuru again.

Heels hurt after 30 min.

Pros: Easy to order, look great, good arch support. Cons: I've tried several times now and after about 30 minutes or so my heels start to hurt. I was really excited about these shoes. I went ahead and bought Hoka and I've no issues at all or with any other tennis shoe (Ortho, Sketcher, NB, etc. )

The HEELS are alive, with the wear of Kuru

Nobody told me that heels potentially act up as one gets older. I mean, nobody drops knowledge on any of the weirder aging changes, but regarding the heel one THANK YOU Kuru for making my heels and feet feel as good as new again! Wait …more accurately, good as refurbished new again! (smile) And! Love the Kuru Guru ads, btw. They’re fun and funny. Great way(s) to poke at the tired, trite, antiquated concepts of old.

Highly offensive and degrading advertising

Your recent commercial's (Kuru Guru) attempt at humor is appalling. It's so unbelievably offensive to the aging population. I see multiple other reviews here stating the same and your response is to apologize that it didn't land well with us?? We are not the problem. You should remove this degrading ad and fire whoever approved it. Horrible.

My first customer service experience

My GF has a pair and loves them. Talked me into it. Purchased a pair before a vacation, knowing its anticipated delivery was close to my vacation start date. Immediately after they shipped, their arrival was pushed back. I reached out to kuru to see if they had any contact with the shipper and if there was anything that could be done( delay, redirect, hold, etc). I made an attempt with the shipper and was ultimately denied. The CS person in Kuru did apologize but in one breath said I should have bought insurance and ordered even earlier then I did. Disregarding the posted estimated time, and the shipping companies responsibility in delivering and the fact I just spent $175, and that wasn’t enough. They weren’t wrong, but they weren’t really trying to hear me and help get ahead of a possible problem. Hopefully I’ll get them after I return. But I’ll likely be returning them before taking them fully out of the box. That first interaction didn’t sit well. My Brooks are doing just fine.

Soles are pealing off

My Kuru shoes received as a gift 1-2 years ago and not worn every day, are now not useable due to the sole becoming dislodged from the body of the shoe near the toe. This may be due to poor quality adhesive or poor design. Without the order number and being greater than 6 months, Kuru does not provide any warranty for workmanship. I am surprised that an expensive brand such as Kuru does not stand behind its product.

I went to purchase a pair of Kuru shoes and there is currently a $10.00 Tariff fee being passed on to customers. Be aware of what you are being charged for, I did not complete my order.
