Major Drop Off Recently

Recently, my partner and I, both with iD have been unable to make or receive either calls or texts. People have tried to contact us and cannot get through. I can't call out. I've contacted customer service and they tell me I'm lying, but other customers are reporting the same issues. There's just no network. I'm paying for the ability to miss important phone calls. I'll be leaving iD as soon as I have time to organise a new contract.

I.D Mobile Upfront Costs

When I first joined I.D Mobile over 8 years ago I found it to be very affordable,but recently it has gone down hill,the signal is terrible, frequent outages the phone I have on contract with them has now developed a pink line down one side of the screen so I tried to get another contract for a new phone and got turned down,I have 5 more months left on my existing contract stuck with a defective phone. Just had so much trouble with this network The upfront costs are now so high I've decided I won't be upgrading and will be changing my network provider... I do not recommend this mobile phone network.

Zero Stars if Possible – iD Mobile’s Support Is a Joke

I recently made the unfortunate decision to switch from O2 to iD Mobile, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Ever since the switch, all my incoming calls are showing as "Unknown," making it impossible to identify callers. Despite replacing the physical SIM card as advised by their support team, the issue remains unresolved. I’ve contacted their chat support multiple times, only to be met with completely untrained and clueless agents. One tells me to install Truecaller, another suggests changing phone settings, and someone else even advised me to block unknown numbers — none of which address the actual problem. I’ve provided multiple SLAs and spent hours explaining the same issue repeatedly, but nothing has been resolved. The so-called "experts" take ages to understand basic queries and offer inconsistent, often nonsensical solutions. In short, switching to iD Mobile doesn’t just mean changing your mobile provider — it means signing up for endless frustration, wasted time, and complete disregard for customer experience. Their after-sales service is abysmal and their support staff is in dire need of technical training. Avoid at all costs.

I’ve had an absolutely terrible…You have to leave

I’ve had an absolutely terrible experience with ID Mobile. It took over a week to move my eSIM from my old phone to my new one, and in the end, it didn’t even work. Since it was the weekend, I had to wait 2 full days without a mobile phone — which is unacceptable, especially since I have a heart condition and might need to call emergency services at any time. I contacted customer support 7 or 8 times over chat, repeatedly proving my identity with photos of myself and my driving license, but nothing got resolved. Eventually, I had to visit a physical store and spent 4 hours there just to activate my eSIM. On top of all this, the internet speed is terrible — I couldn’t even watch YouTube without constant disconnections. I’m done with this very bad company. I’m switching tomorrow. My advice? Spend an extra £1 or £2 per month and get a better company with more data and reliable service. I got a new eSIM from another provider in 3 minutes. Save yourself the headache — move out of ID Mobile. Forgot to say no eSIM migration between mobile s Again…… even left the network ce ID Mobile company and ported my no to another network. ID still hold some features of this no as text and voicemail. What this ….. company is. Is there any one of this …. Can help

I’ve been with iD mobile for years and…

I’ve been with iD mobile for years and with my current phone I needed a new one as it plays up. Since the account was in my dads name he clicked leave iD button and it was the 10th July when it was supposed to disconnect so I could make a brand new account. 10th July came and no change still in my dads name I tried multiple times to sort it but couldn’t. It’s still not been disconnected at all I’ve even tried it on my phone. I’ve now gone with EE got my phone. But the account is still in my dad’s name. He’s cancelled the direct debit and I’m waiting on the final bill but after speaking to someone on Facebook messenger they said because I'm not the account holder there’s nothing they could do and that my dad would have to speak to them on live chat as he doesn’t have social media. Live chat is absolutely pointless as there’s no help and whoever you get is useless and doesn’t know what they are doing. There’s no phone number to call them on at all which is really suss and odd. Every company should have a phone number to call them on. iD mobile is absolutely horrendous plus my number I have doesn’t work with Universal Credit even though there’s no block on any unknown callers. It goes straight to voicemail. 100% DO NOT GO WITH ID MOBILE AS ITS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

Dont go near these guys-shocking…

Dont go near these guys-shocking service and after enduring a 55 min live chat I was promised a £30 payment within 24 hours into my bank account by Avuyile plus contact on my complaint--6 days later-zero payment and zero contact-so today I endure them again-another 40 mins with Anika-who again does nothing and passes me back to the same live chat who gave shocking customer service and lied to me-so 7 days on this is the reality of being an ID Mobile customer--top tip stop posting up social media gimmics and start valuing customers

Absolute worst provider in the UK

Absolute worst provider in the UK, not even worth one star. Throttled to the max, constantly less than 5mbps, often less in Scotland. Tried lebara and was 10x stronger everywhere. Finally give up after 18 months of hell. Avoid at all costs. Zero customer service to help if problems with network.
