Enquired about prices for door and window over a year ago and still awaiting a response. Then I asked for prices for 2 internal doors the same as the ones I had bought from them a couple of years ago. This company told me that they were awaiting on their suppliers to respond and that was the delay. Unbeknownst to them, I contacted these suppliers and found out that they had not been contacted by Huws Gray and didn't know anything about it. Meanwhile, I've been waiting over a year now to get a job done and told continuous lies about materials. Not a trustworthy company and no customer care - they don't want your business. If you can get materials elsewhere, do so. This company are not reputable
I get all my materials from Huws Gray Doncaster branch , service is great most of my orders are handled by Pam her help and understanding when ordering is the best, and is why i keep going back for my materials , well done she’s a credit to her company
What a great company to deal with, from the start of my order till the delivery, very knowledgeable, polite, and reassuring.
They kept us updated and the delivery was within a couple of days.
Blochairn staff, Conor, Samuel & Bobby were amazing.
After excellent service at Ellesmere port and spending thousands at Huws we moved to Winsford.. drastically different service.. Winsford are dreadful.. unhelpful.. it's like they don't want to sell me anything? Awful attitude on the counter. Will unfortunately be taking my business elsewhere
Absolutely disgusted when it delivered 1/3 of my order broken even after 2 weeks of order and now it’s been a month and there is no sight of replacement yet. Already made couple of calls and always same answer as they have no stocks but when you try to order online it does not say out of stock. This is shocking experience with this company absolutely pathetic. Stafford branch. Now I had asked for refund and told me they will pick up those broken items in a week time and only refund will be process that is a month and half hope won’t take longer to refund and sorted once and forever with this company

Traded with Builders Supplies at Fleetwood for years. Now taken over by Huw Grey Building Supplies. Cannot deliver for 8 days. Impossible to contact them by telephone. Gone from a really good company to a very poor company with nil customer service. Switched to another supplier who value your business.
Same staff on the counter who must be banging their heads against a brick wall. Feel sorry for them.
Great service, ordered yesterday and arrived today, Joe, who delivered the goods was great, he carried everything to exactly where I wanted it. Well Done - really pleased.
Visited the formby branch 12 months ago. The lads couldn’t be more helpful, from the counter staff to the lads in the yard. I’m a joiner not from the local area, but these boys couldn’t do enough. I have been back recently to do more work and again got the same quality of service. I think the manager is called Joe he could teach a lot of managers how to run a team. If only all builders merchants were like this. It would make the job a lot easier. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

ABSOLUTELY USELESS, REPLACED OUR SUPERB BUILDERS MERCHANTS RECENTLY IN MORECAMBE.
They will not answer the phone, no matter how many times and days you ring them.
On visiting, My Husband went into the Sales Counter, (usual, to order and pay for what he wanted).
Told to go into the yard, see someone to find out if they had stock of the item he wanted, (usual go into the yard with your ticket and vehicle, load and leave).
Decided to purchase the product, only to find a raise in price of 50% from the previous company.
Contacted me, told him to go back in and cancel, not paying that price.
On cancelling, he was told they could actually do it for 30% increase in price.
On principal he decided to refuse the offer, why didn't they offer this in the first place, I was a regular customer with the previous company.
I never paid the full retail price, nor did I get trade price, I always received a price that was the same or cheaper than other large merchants in the area.
This morning I decided to look online, sure enough they had an order online website.
Something the original company never had, I always managed to order, pay, and arrange delivery over the phone, no problem whatsoever.
They never had an online service, odd occasion if it was urgent, Hubby would go in the car, pay, load and take away.
THE WEBSITE IS USELESS, YOU SELECT THE PRODUCT, SENDS YOU TO A PAGE WHICH SAYS DO NOT STOCK.
WHAT !! IN THE YARD YESTERDAY THEY HAD ENOUGH SUPPLY OF EVERY SIZE TO SELL TO EVERYONE IN THE COUNTRY, NEVER MIND MORECAMBE.
HOW THIS COMPANY HOPES TO SURVIVE IN A CUT THROAT PRICE WORLD NEVER MIND HERE AMAZES ME.
PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, IF YOU ARE NOT TRADE DO NOT BOTHER.
EVEN THOUGH THE SIGNAGE AT THE PREMISES, STATE NOT JUST FOR THE TRADE, CUSTOMERS WELCOMED.
YES YOU ARE, BUT BEWARE OF THE VERY HIGH PRICE YOU WILL PAY FOR ANYTHING HERE, COMPARED TO OTHER LARGE COMPANIES IN MORECAMBE.
SUGGEST YOU USE THEM AND NOT THIS COMPANY.

I'd have given a rating of zero if I could. Ordered a bag of grano dust on April 1st,it's now 11th April and still not arrived. Tried to ring the St Helens branch who were supposed to be dealing with the order. No answer. Rang multiple times, no answer. I then emailed customer services, I have still had no answer. My wife rang the main customer services number and got through only to be told by the person on the phone that even they struggle to speak to the St Helens branch because they don't answer the phone. She was then told someone would ring her back... Still waiting.
Had a bad experience few weeks ago ..male Assistant who gave the impression he did not want to assist and was embarrassing. Left without getting items which he said they did not have...they did.
Went in yesterday and what a difference the Assistant Helen Rourke could not have been more helpful and informative. Went out of her way to help.
Gave me back my confidence to ask for help when needed.
