I've hosted my website with Heart for many years and recently had an email problem. Turned out to be at my client end, nothing to do with Heart, but Andrew Welsby on their support team was really hepful and managed to pin down the problem and help me sort it. I've always found them quick to provide excellent support which is why I've stayed with them for years.
Iβve been with Heart for many years, I have had to stop working recently due to ill health and had a renewal notice through a few days ago. I contacted Heart to ask if I could βreduceβ my package as I no longer needed it but wanted to keep my email addresses etc. I used the online service and had a very quick response from the customer services guy called Andrew Welsby, within a day he sorted out exactly what I needed and kept me advised as things progressed. Reminded me why I stayed with Heart for many years! Excellent service and plans at very reasonable prices. Top marks for their service and most appreciated. Thank you Heart
Quick response to my support request. Simple explanation on how to resolve. Highly recommend heart, fair play to them not had a problem with any of their services and I have sites, email and domain parking, like the fact there is no messing about and all the tech persons actually know their stuff.

When it works, it works well and the support is generally good. Not cheap though. Specific moans: the online status often fails to mention known problems, e.g. very recent issues with certificates. Logging in uses captcha. I must have tried at least fifty times this morning to get past it. Very very angry. Tried the audio version which was worse, usanians mumbling incomprehensibly. FFS get rid of it and use 2fa or something.

Having gone through a nightmare over the last few weeks with the βsuperβ upgrade. I thought things had at last been sorted out. No such luck. It was found that I did not need the power of the new upgrade, so it was decided to move my site to a shared group. For the last few days our website displayed is one over a month old. I now no longer have an SSL, so some people trying to access the site are getting the message that it may be a problem site and finally I cannot update the site as I cannot access it, so I have a backlog of changes. I have not had a reply to my messages from Heart Internet for over 24 hours. Aghhhhhh!!

Three months ago, Heart began carrying out some 'essential' maintenance; this took a number of our websites offline, and we were constantly reassured that it would be resolved shortly. The fact that I'm writing this three months later probably makes clear where this is going, but for anyone considering transferring to Heart: the sites and servers are still a mess, and they are yet to provide the 'support' service which was also taken offline at the same time. Trying to reach them for live support still results in a "Live Chat Temporarily Unavailable β We're Still Here to Help. As we focus on assisting customers with essential migrations, our live chat service is temporarily unavailable. If you need assistance, please raise a support ticket via your Customer Area, and our team will respond as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time." Three months isn't temporary, nor is it acceptable. We are working to migrate everything away that we can, which is a nightmare as they had been reliable for over a decade.

You may have noted a lot of unhappy reviews here in the wake of recent migrations (? April maybe?) but hopefully the problems have been sorted now. At any rate, the customer service adviser dealing with a ticket I raised has shown a lot of patience and tenacity in helping a non-techie such as myself to overcome a series of issues, and a number of my mistakes. 5 star.
