Review summary
FIXD has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and reliable, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
They charge you a subscription fee automatically without you ever signing up for it and make some long winded bs way of going through their site cramming their product subscription down your throat to get your refund back, we will see if I even get the refund back…
Great product. I had a question and needed assistance. My email was answered promptly and the request was handled by the time they emailed. Great customer service!!
They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.
The main No refund after I returned the phonesituation is that it didn't…
The main situation is that it didn't work, and they never refunded the money. It is a trap.
2. I had two phones. One Android and one iPhone. I didn't work on either of them. When I sent an email, with screenshots of the error message, they claimed it shoulda, woulda with the next generation of the phones I had.
If you value your money do not buy off these people. I bought one device and never paid or signed up for any sort of subscription and they have stolen $178 from my account and my bank won’t do a thing about it, I am writing this review to try and help other ppl from making the same mistake as I’ll be making an entirely new bank acc
FIXD is not a SCANNER. It’s a SCAMMER! It does not cost $30. It is pretty useless without the lifetime premium subscription charged annually at $149 without your consent!
Although the Sensor and App did not reveal any news about my 2005 Renault Master the customer service was incredible fast and fair.
Wish you a lot more customers who can take advantage of your product.
The FIXD is pretty worthless, and the advertising is deceptive. First, it gives inaccurate results when compared to the diagnostic machine a mechanic or dealership uses; FIXD misses a LOT. Second, the app makes you think you must buy a $99.99 annual subscription to get ANY information/scanning result. I still don't know how to bypass that.
4-25-25 I saw an ad on YouTube for a car ODB sensor module for DYI’ers and others. It looked valid (on sale for $19.99) from a company called FIXD so I went to purchase it via PayPal, when the total window came up ($25.42 at 7:29pm) it suddenly INCLUDED a year subscription for their “app”. Please note that try as I might, I COULD NOT delete or cancel this ad-on. I then tried to delete the ODB sensor from the purchase and couldn’t do that either.
$
The YouTube ad led me to believe the sensor was a COMPLETE item/package… Self-Operating with your phone; and at no time did it say it REQUIRED the purchase of their “app”. Shocked at FIXD’s arrogance, instead of continuing to process the buy, I backed out of the final sales window and immediately (7:32pm) contacted FIXD (via phone email) to cancel my order [if it should go through].
$
They then sent several delay-tactic emails, several exclaiming “sorry to hear you want to cancel…” wherein they ask WHY?. I already stated why with my FIRST email to them… to wit: “Please cancel my order, your auto-ad-on post order equates to false advertising”.
$
I responded to the first “WHY”, then as additional time-wasting OBVIOUS delay-tactic emails arrived, I simply ignored them. However, I made my way to my computer and addressed FIXD from that email (see pix) and foolishly assumed they would be professional enough to stop & reverse in their tracks and cancel the order via my threat to prosecute.

NO, nope, nada, zilch, nein. They didn’t care OR respond! So, feeling suspicious 4-26-25, I peeked in on my PayPal account and found FIXD had “immediately” withdrew money from my account (4-25-25 at 7:29pm) AS WELL AS scheduled a $99 (plus tax) additional payment in 13 days -A-N-D- they would do that every year… ad infinitum!
$
I then contacted PayPal to file a serious dispute and share my concerns about the fraudulent tactics FIXD was using. “D----” was most helpful and assured me the “future” payment would not be made and that PayPal would seek repayment of my money to me via FIXD. Additionally, she shared that if FIXD does not comply, PayPal will permanently ban them from all PayPal sites and activities, and PayPal would personally give me my money back.
$
BUYER BEWARE – I would give MINUS -10 stars if I could as regards this totally devious company.
If anyone cares, I have photo proof the above happened.
I got FIXD, and after the $20 through PayPal purchase was charged another $107.99 on my PayPal account. I disputed the charge on PayPal and got reimbursed but I advise you to be careful with this company.
