Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

Our family had the best vacation at Beach Funatics! There was plenty of space for even a crowd with several different living spaces and televisions. The kids and adults alike loved the pool and quick access to the beach. We loved the shaded sitting area by the pool also. The A/C worked great all throughout the house which is a plus compared to other places we’ve stayed! There are so many great memories had at Beach Funatics and we will definitely come back soon!

I had miscommunication on all of the codes for the rental home, so that was frustrating. It wasn't until day 4 that our gate code finally worked. The outside of the home needs to be refreshed as far as paint. The inside was very warm and inviting. They do need to work on the water pressure. There is an awesome Jacuzzi tub, but it kept consuming all of the water in the whole house. Would I stay here again? Honestly not sure. The location was ideal and the beds very comfy.

I had called the office several times just to get the door pin to get inside the house . It took me several minutes to get some one to answer my phone call . The house needs remodeling, it’s not now you see it on the internet.

The house itself was very pretty and in a great location, but there were several issues: 1) The code to get in the house did not work, so I had to call Five Star Properties immediately upon arrival. 2) When we got inside, the house was extremely dirty. Floors were covered in dust, there was a dead lizard in a window sill, and there were spiderwebs/cobwebs on the fans, furniture, etc. My kids walked through the house barefoot and the bottoms of their feet were literally black before Day 1 was even over. 3) The house came with a golf cart, but the keys were not in it and were not in the lock box (the code didn't work for that lock box either - I had to call Five Star again). My oldest daughter happened to find the golf cart keys in a random corner of the kitchen. We started the golf cart and there was no gas, so we had to fill that up before heading to the beach. 4) I was working the week we were there, and the Wi-Fi login information provided was incorrect. I had to call Five Star Properties again to get the correct information. 5) The code to the front door quit working again on Day 2, so I had to call Five Star Properties again to try and get in the house (because they do not provide a physical key). I left 2 messages, sent an email, and a customer service inquiry. Me and my daughters (6 and 3) were locked out for almost 2 hours before anyone called me back. 6) The HOA says quiet time in the neighborhood is from 10pm - 7am, but they do not enforce it. The house next to us had a pool and was rented out the entire time we were there. Music was blaring literally until dawn each night. My 3 year old woke up several times a night each night of our stay because it was SO loud next door. While this isn't Five Stars issue, they should 100% work with the HOA to make sure those rules are enforced. 7) One of the faucets in the master bathroom didn't work - no water would come out when turning the knobs 8) None of the batteries in TV remotes worked, so we had to replace those 9) You have your own portal with property details - gate code, wifi information, check in/check out details, etc. When those details were wrong, they never updated in the portal even though the customer service agent told me she would update that information. I had to call multiple times throughout our stay due to information in the portal being inaccurate. These are all small issues and "first world problems," but with the price of this property you expect a level of cleanliness and service to come with a higher price tag. We almost extended our stay at another property in Santa Rosa Beach, but because the poor service Five Star provided, we ultimately decided to go home and not rent another property with them. We will not stay at this house or use Five Star Properties for future bookings.

I absolutely would not rent from Five Star Properties in the future. Their response time was at best slow, and at worst nonexistent. For example, during our five night stay the electrical outlets in all bathrooms never worked. 5* has stated they were unaware of any issues. That is their problem. I called and texted their office no less than 6 times (original or follow-ups) on the various issues during my brief stay. I an assure you speaking with a property manager was the last thing I wanted to do while on vacation.

We enjoyed our trip to the beach! We continued self distancing. The house was clean and sanitary.

Beautiful property!

Took me nearly 3 weeks & multiple phone calls to obtain the seven-digit pin needed in order to reserve beach chairs. By the time I received the correct PIN there was nothing available. After 12 years of coming with my family each summer this rates as one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had.

We had a great time at this property. A little bit of a walk to the beach, but the beach was not crowded, and had limited access just for the neighborhood. We fully recommend this house and will likely look into booking next year.

We really enjoy our time that we get to spend in Destin. Our house that we stayed in worked out great! Our kitchen area was spacious and served our large group perfectly. The pool was a major hit also. Plenty of room for all, with a perfect spot for the little ones. Had just a few minor issues with some things, but didn't really get in the way of us having a great time.

We had a wonderful time at Casa Azul. The house was equipped with everything we needed and had a beautiful outdoor space. Walkable to a wonderful beach that was clean. It was nice to have the chairs and umbrella set up every day at the beach. Will definitely plan a trip like this again

Condo was tastefully decorated, and appropriate for the beach.

We recently vacationed at Serendipity in Inlet Beach. It was a beautiful home, well appointed and it was a seamless stay with no issues. Very nice experience! We will definitely consider Five Star Properties for our future stays.

The rental itself was great and as represented in the pictures. I received a lot of automated emails prior to the visit requesting info that had already provided. It was confusing and happened more than once so I feel there could have been a more personalized approach or at a minimum a system with accurate records that didn’t send unnecessary emails. Two issues that were reported during the stay were responded to very promptly.

This was a beautiful home with plenty of space and privacy for my family. The location on the beach was excellent and private, shared with other home owners. The kitchen was fully stocked, I had everything I needed to cook each night. The pool was clean and the area around the pool was nice. I would recommend this home and would stay here again.

Overall our property was beautiful though it does need some updating. We loved the porch view of the gulf and easy access to the beach. The pool was very nice.

The house itself is worth 5 stars for sure! It's beautifully decorated and spacious. Plenty of room for multiple families. We stayed 2 weeks with a famliy of four, so everyone had their own floor. It's a short walk to the beach and it's nice to have 6 beach chairs set up with the name of the house on it (unfortunately there are always those people that will claim those chairs and then you have to ask them to leave. Everyone did but one couple was rude enough to refuse, but that has nothing to do with the house. Just wanted to let you know what to expect.) Now for the bad; the house is situated on a very busy street with constantly people driving/walking by and helicopters flying over. The pool is on the street side with no privacy at all, I would suggest planting shrubs along the fence line to improve this issue. For this I took one star off, we like privacy and there was none at all. I really should take another star off but didn't since it's a temporary issue. They are building across the street so besides from the fact that the ocean view is gone, there was construction noise constantly. We were woken up every morning by beeping, hammering, lowering and lifting etc. It was super annoying and not really the calming experience we had hoped for. It should get better the farther they get into the project. The building shows to be ready in October of this year. Just FYI. I would not have rented this house if there were other homes available during the same time frame because of above mentioned issues. It was very expensive and with all the noise and lack of privacy not really worth the money.

We had a wonderful vacation in Miramar Beach thanks to the wonderful property we rented through Five Star Properties. The house was just a 5 minute walk to the beach and the beach was beautiful! Five Star contacted us the first couple of days to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything.

Five Star, the entire team of people that represent and operate this organization has been outstanding. Every detail was handled and with all of the confusion we are going through it is apparent they have their "ACT" together.

I can only rate you four stars. The house was great and the whole family had a great time. To earn five stars you need to repair the broken appliances; freezer and ice maker. There is also a broken recliner and a towel rack in the master bath needs repair. The carpet on the top floor curls up and is a tripping hazard. All said I would rent the house again.
