Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

Our issues were addressed when we were at our property (broken refrigerator, missing bike) in a timely fashion. BUT in general the interior was not as expected with dirt, stains, broken furniture. One bathroom shower handle was broken/lose and burned my daughter. I expressed my dissatisfaction and sent pictures and videos of everything and did not receive any follow up. We even informed them we were leaving a day early and hoped they would use that time to address all the problems. Never heard back.

Teresa and the team did a super job in resolving some issues. I will for sure be back to rent from your team again soon! Thank you!

Great time. Being so close to the beach access was awesome and made our week. Master suite was super nice! Showers were weird and lacked pressure and the AC went out for a day. Overall I would do it again.

I am taking off two stars not because of the home but because Five star. The house we rented was great, however we were disappointed in how Five star handled the situation with COVID. Booked the house a year in advance, way before the pandemic even hit. We were advised to purchase extra insurance, which we did. As we got closer to our rental, short term rentals were actually shut down and we were worried we would not be able to rent. We wanted to throw in the towel since our flights had also been cancelled and they were not flexible at all, given the circumstances even with extra insurance. We will not be renting from Five star again because of their lack of flexibility during a time of crisis. I’ve been coming to the area for over 20+ years and this is the first and last time we will be renting with them.

Our experience during our vacation with Five Star this year was great. We had to call about the air conditioner and the grill needed propane. Both issues were handled immediately. Also, we were concerned about Covid but the house was clean and even the towels were sealed up after being cleaned, and the beds were cleaned and sealed. We loved our home Millenia and would love to do it again.

Exceptional service and rental property.

Overall our experience was great but there were a few issues--the oven was dirty when we arrived and there were dishes in the cabinet that had been taken out of the dishwasher which had dried egg on them.

We stayed in Gulf Dreams and the house was perfect! We had 2 families, 10 total. Five Star and Bliss Beach Rentals made everything super easy.

Five Star Properties was fantastic to work with!

Rented Boondocks in Destin for a week for over $8,000. First evening several of our group was at fishing pond when sprinklers came on and sprayed us. Spray had bad order like sewage. Had to wash all clothes and take showers. Order penetrated ground floor of our house. No one could sleep there.Called Five Star and was told by agent that nothing they could do because it was Homeowners Assoc. problem. Agent promised to contact them and get back to us. Agent never called back. Spent next day calling Five Star to complain. Agents keep telling us they would inform there supervisor who would call us. No one called. After two days, we packed up and when home. Finally I got an agent to put me through to a supervisor. I ask for a refund of some of my payment. He said people get use to the smell and he could not refund any money. Why? Do the right thing and send me a refund!

Beautiful home. Perfect size for our large family! Absolutely beautiful finishes and plenty of room. Love the rooftop and pool and hot tub area so much. Needs a second refrigerator and also need fans on the porches.

Five Star was amazing!!! They were easy to book a property with and were constantly in contact throughout our stay to make sure everything was in order.

Five star came through for us this vacation with the pandemic going on! We were excited about our upcoming visit to Destin after a long stay at home when we were made aware an incident at our rental had happened and it was no longer available. Five star gave us several options and we loved our stay at Villa Pallozo.

Overall was great. Staff was very attentive when needed. Stove didn’t work all the time and satellite tv had limited reception but the place was perfect for our family vacation with 13 people.

We have stayed in the same beach house for several years in a row, but this is the first time it has been under Five Star Properties. Booking was easy, access codes were accurate, there were plenty of towels for the property, and it came with bicycles this year which was a nice touch. Definitely better this year under Five Star management!

I’ve experienced way better

5 star service, excellent home and well equipped. Second time we have used 5 Star Vacation homes in Destine. Just got back and we are researching our next reservation now.

Sugar Shack is really nice inside. Very clean. Backyard pool and covered patio are awesome. Surrounding landscape could use some beautifying. This is no chair/umbrella service at the beach as advertised.
