Donald Russell

While the meat is excellent quality, and the service / options are excellent, there is too much plastic packaging around the meat. For example, each steak is individually wrapped. Perhaps there could be an option to select the number of portions to be included together. I plan not to order from DR again because of the plastic.

with the cost of living going up and prices for goods and products it has become essential to search for the best deals unfortunately all of the products at Donald Russell have become far too expensive example being the £2.50 increase on breaded or battered cod and haddock I enjoyed these products but they are now out of my price range, also the latest practise of limiting the amount of a product that we can buy if and when I buy from Donald Russell it is to stock up my freezer and one of my go to products was the lasagne which was recently subject to rationing these are the things that will stop me from making any further purchases from Donald Russell which is a shame because I do like and enjoy the variety and range of products this company offers

We have been customers for many years and loved all D.R. products except their bacon which is sadly pumped full of disgusting weight bulking fluids that leak out when frying.

The quality of food from Donald Russell is excellent. I choose my delivery date and always receive a text to say what time the delivery will come, this is a one hour window. The food arrives well packaged and in good condition. The meat I have received has always been of good quality and I would diffenetly recommend.

Never been let down on either delivery or quality of goods. Wish I had a bigger freezer.⁹

Seen lots of reviews some with moans,but you know when your order will arrive,how it is packed(the polly boxes are waterproof and can be used for storage) what you are getting,shows how to cook,free delivery.so think of the cost of making these items and the organisation required so get on and enjoy the great food.

I love the quality of your meat but the Rib Trim has shot up in price and the packet is smaller.

I use Donald Russell quite a lot and purchase on line. I love their meat and in particular their large curry pie. I have always had excellent service from them even on the telephone. So well done to all staff

Expensive cuts of meat are usually very good, but steer clear of cheaper cuts and/or ready meals - better value available at supermarkets. Also packaging on pre-cooked lasagne, chilli etc usually fails!

Have allways found D R produces to be of very high standard, but am surprise in the latest % of one star ratings. They need to up their game.

First and foremost, they put the customer first. Great service, always on time, food real quality, packaging superb, and not over-priced! Terrific!

I’ve been using Donald Russell for quite a while now and have decided what my favourites are. I would highly recommend them for quality, freshness and value. I know some thing seem expensive but you get what you pay for. I will remain a customer of this great British Supplier.

I have used Donald Russell for years but recently the quality of their steaks have declined. I have been disappointed with my last two orders. Hopefully this is a blip and anticipated quality will return.

The quality of DR products is excellent.My only gripes are the increase of minimum spend to £50 to get free delivery, which often stops me ordering,and putting additives into the previously excellent beefburgers.

The sirloin steak has become tougher and tougher. I now just chop it up and put it in a casserole.
