Exceeded expectations... ribeye steaks were extremely tasty with excellent marbling. The fries were actually generous for a single portion.

We have been customers of Donald Russell for many years. The quality of the food is excellent especially the steak. We have never tasted such excellent Ribeye and Sirloin steaks and they are so tender too. I love the carbonara too, really delicious and the best l have ever had. My husband loves the black pudding and the steak burgers and l have found that the braising steak is not only tasty but so tender. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

Used them for a few years for Christmas meals. We normally get all the meat and trimmings from them. Unfortunately they've changed their recipes and now put butter/milk in EVERYTHING. Their food was great before, but as a family that has milk allergies I'm really disappointed they don't have allergy friendly food. I did feed this back last year, but based on previous customer reviews, they don't listen to customer feedback! Will go elsewhere for my Christmas shop and will stop recommending Donald Russell to friends/family and colleagues.

The delivery of the £50 special offer from the Telegraph magazine was on time and very well packed and frozen. The pork sausages were good, but the Barnsley chops were almost inedible, tough, difficult to cut through and almost tasteless, which was disappointing for such an anticipated treat. We have yet to try the other items.

A good selection of foods and great quality. It was nice to be able to choose the delivery date without extra costs.

Took advantage of an offer in a well known national newspaper. Could not be more satisfied. Product arrived as informed by carrier, contents individually well packed, quality of meat excellent, especially the sausage rolls. Well satisfied.

Everything we have eaten so far from the meat box has been amazing.

We had the £50 pack which was on offer. Having sampled some of it, our verdict is that the meat is fairly underwhelming. Quite tender but not a lot of taste. Just glad I didn't pay full price. The sausage rolls were quite "solid". Too much meat for the pastry and greasy in our opinion. So sorry DR I think you can count us out.

Packing and delivery first class. Everything arrived well frozen for placing directly to the freezer. All orders packed separately ready for defrost and eating. The blueberry cheesecake was 5 star.

I have been a customer for many years but recently the Company has been shrink wrapping their whole chickens. When unwrapped the chickens are squashed almost flat so difficult to stuff without breaking the skin at the sides. These are premium priced chickens. I have complained without success so buying whole chickens elsewhere.

The food we ordered wasn't up to standard, in our view. The meat was tough, and really small. Overall, we didn't think it was value for money. The sausage and sausage rolls weren't very nice. So I don't think we will be ordering again.

Excellent service, well packaged frozen produce delivered on time. All the meat was delicious, we particularly enjoyed the ribeye steak burgers

This was my first Donald Russell meat delivery and i was pleasantly surprised. Offer package i ordered contained 6 different items and so far impressed by the quality of meats. I live in Scottish Western Isles and my delivery arrived on time and ideal for freezing. Will certainly use again.

The food that gets delivered is of good quality. But the business is not as ECO-friendly as they claim to be. Instead of sending the good in the eco-boxes, it's send in bulky polystyrene boxes. After repeatedly asking for the eco-boxes they promised to use them for my next delivery. Guess what... going to look for an alternative supplier.

Been using Donald Russel for the best part of 15 years food always faultless, however the last year I've had problems with delivery more often than not DPD . It's actually reduced food orders dramatically think I've only had 2 this year when normally I'd have 9-10 throughout the year ' reason being delivered arriving late evening some times some food thawed some food left outside . What a surprise I got yesterday morning just after 10 o'clock my delivery arrived everything still absolutely frozen never have I had a delivery from Donald Russel arrive in the morning . Well it's all thanks to FedEx delivery I do hope Donald Russel use this delivery company more often ' if so I for one will be using Donald Russel a lot more often more so than I used to do . Thanks
