Hopelessly useless this company should not have express in its name. waiting for a parcel from Sydney to Cowra. If i could give you no stars then thats what i'd do supposed delivery date according to their track and trace system 21/11/24, in Orange depot 28/11/24 no updates since, latest date for delivery 29/11/24 You need to overhaul your company and its policies. in my opinion if you cant deliver an item on time the the customer should get a full refund
I had a parcel delivered on the 18th of November, the delivery driver asked if I could help given the number of items 9 in total, I carried 8 out of the 9 and one was dropped from the rear of the truck onto the floor by the driver. Good job it wasn't breakable, I then started to check my items and there was one missing, this was delivered the following day as it was left on the vehicle?? Another delivery on the 26th of November, over $3000 worth of electrical equipment left at my front door for all to see which ended up surprise surprise being stolen. No notification of intended delivery or notification of delivery on the day, spoke to customer service after being on the line for over 30 minutes before someone picked up who showed no remorse or compassion about my items and claimed it was the sender's responsibility. I was told I had to make a police report and follow up with the sender. Another delivery yesterday 28th of 2 items that were scanned at the depot and only one was delivered, chased up today and they don't know where the item is. This company is a joke, no organization, no customer service of sorts, lazy drivers who deem a front door a safe and acceptable place to leave valuable items at and have no come back or responsibility by Direct Freight!!!
It took one hour for this response on my 1 star review unlike my emails with them which seem to be on the we are never responding time frame. I’ve made numerous phone calls and emailed still waiting. I ordered a printer through this platform. I found out the actual supplying company was OZ Toner. The printer was a large item at a reasonable price at the time. Once paid, I thought it would take a few days. I followed it up after a week. To my surprise, they had already attempted delivery twice. The weird bit I thought was that no notification had been left of the attempted delivery. I contacted Bunnings Marketplace, who informed me it would be redelivered. I asked for delivery after 5.00, response sorry no can do. I enquired about delivery on the weekend, response sorry no can do. I then arranged to change my schedule and be home. No delivery. I then said I could leave my gate unlocked (which is not a great thing around my area, as thefts occur). Still no delivery. They said they called my number, but there was no message or text on my phone) I followed up twice more and waited. The item was back at the depot or returned to the seller, and it would cost another $50.00 to resend. Suddenly, my good buy was the same as the competition, and it cost me time and angst. I questioned why they didn't use a delivery company that called, texted, took photographs, or at least left a notice of their attempt to deliver. It made me very suspicious and untrusting of the system. I then asked for a refund and was told I would not be given a refund and that paying for the extra delivery was the only option. Very frustrated, I paid the extra$50.00 and followed the tracking meticulously. The delivery guy arrived and was acting like my gate was locked. I am sure he would have driven away if I had not come out and unlatched (not unlocked) the gate. The whole experience was poor and frustrating and more costly than purchasing elsewhere. I would not recommend the platform at all, and the only reason they get a star is because you can't get less than a star.
Absolutely disgusting service item transported to a local depot 6 days ago. No one can communicate with him I am not at all happy of no word tomorrow I want a refund I paid for delivery If they are so busy get an extra driver Totally nothing I can do except complain here
Hopeless. Twice this company left my delivery at my front door, without an Authority To Leave given on my order. With the amount of deliveries stolen from people's front doors/ verandahs etc, this company needs to take more responsibility to deliver packages as instructed at time of purchase. No authority to leave means No authority to leave !!
Item weighing over 100 kilos delivered by one driver who said he did not have a trolley and wanted me, a 64 year old woman, to help him carry it up a long, steep driveway. Knowing how desperate my husband was for item, I tried to help and it fell on my right hand. After contacting Customer Service who wrote (16th Sept) that the State Manager would address the issue, we have been fobbed off. Our emails and constant phone calls are no longer responded to.
Multiple days late despite having had the package in the same city for what will soon be 6 days on an order that was time sensitive Customer service non existent and absolutely no updates on scheduling. Absolutely awful
As a recipient who has parcels delivered frequently from all over Australia, Direct Freight Express is by far THE best courier company out there atm in terms of speed, following delivery instructions and driver and company (but especially driver) communication!
Totally incompetent, misdirected parcel but couldn't provide timely updates and failed to apologise, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Paid extra for express delivery and package never arrived on due date (Wednesday). Next day (Thursday), called the company in morning, was on hold for 11/2 hours and then cut off. Tried again that afternoon and was told my package is with another agent and they can't seem to get through to them. Rang back the next morning (Friday) and was told the said agent wouldn't be delivering until the Monday. Had to drive a 2 hour round trip to collect. No Sorry, No nothing. They just don't care.
An online order was coming from Melbourne to bendigo ( an hour and a half away). It went from Melb through bendigo to Wagga Wagga, onto Sydney, back through Bendigo and then to Melbourne. It went through Bendigo twice and never got dropped off to the depot here. Customer Service logged an investigation which was never followed up. Still waiting for my package to be tracked so I can at least see where it's gone now. Very frustrated and would never recommend this company.
Direct Freight Express (DEVONPORT TAS) is the worst courier in Tasmania, packages arrived into there depot and was to be delivered on the 22nd, 25klm from there depo, packages was delivered on 29th. Customer support was shameful, asked when to expect the packages, and she would not even pick up the phone and ask them. customer service is nothing like the recorded message on the phone, we deliver on time they said…. They don’t deserve to be called a business…..
If I could give zero or less, I would. If possible, avoid this company. Driver won’t deliver to the top of the driveway, and rudely tells you to move it yourself. Yes, the driveway is steep, however have had many other large trucks back up and deliver without incident. This driver didn’t even attempt to do so.
parcel scanned into Darwin depot on the 16th June, wouldn't deliver to my delivery address because it's a Post Office, and I've seen them deliver there numerous times, can't deliver to another address without senders authority, authority given with new address,25th June was told that it has been forwarded to another freight company for delivery,6pm 28th June,we don't know what has happened to your parcel, They certainly haven't lived up to the name of Direct,(which it hasn't)freight Express (12day) it's a Friday and they don't know where it is

Had a parcel dropped off on the 28th by this company where I live is government housing now house across has got workmen rerenavating they dropped it off in my driveway and drove away didn't ring the doorbell didn't drop it off behind the 8 foot fence to lazy to open the gate so this guy drops it off in plain view of workmen and passes by and I don't know how long it was there and you won't see it unless you leave the house so I lost 1 whole box these couriers need their head read he may as well have dropped it off on the side of the road but they don't care it's not theirs I urge anybody doing business with this mob to think again their no good I've had nothing but problems with them
We have been waiting on a delivery that was supposed to be here 4 days ago. Today they said that they would be here by 1.30 pm - they still have not delivered. I would not use them and have recommended that our supplier no longer use them too.
Tracking info said my parcel was delivered and signed by me, I did not have the parcel and it was no where to be found. Customer service tried to be helpful, but solved nothing. Turns out the delivery driver sent the parcel to THE WRONG ADDRESS, signed on my behalf, and caused a sh!t ton of unnecessary commotion because of one person's error. Absurdly incompetent.
